The Blackmores difference

Blackmores is Australia’s leading natural health brand in vitamins and mineral supplements. More than 80 years of scientific research into health and nutrition goes into our range of vitamins and mineral supplements.

We now apply the same approach to our nutritional food range developed in partnership with Tatura, one of the largest Australian owned dairy producers of Infant Formula, making dairy products for over 100 years.

Tatura is situated in the Goulburn Valley surrounded by the farms that supply the fresh milk. This milk can be traced right back to the farm it came from to ensure its quality.

Hi I've just changed my little boy to stage 3 in this formula, with no hassles at all. He has a few issues with his gut and I couldn't be happier with how the change has gone. He loves it. As a mum I was also really excited to see the smoothie suggestion on the package :) thank you

Could you please explain what are ingredients of "Vegetable Oil Blend" ? Is it Palm oil, corn oil, soy oil, etc. Some of this oils are considered to be unhealthy, e.g. palm oil or not sustainable.

Would you consider some organic ingredients in your baby formula?

Why don't you add Lactoferrin to the baby formula? It would be the first formula of its kind that includes real immune boosting protein from mothers milk.

Welcome to the Blackmores Infant Formula website. Please take a moment to read this important message:

Blackmores supports breastfeeding as the best nutrition for babies.

If you are considering an alternative to breastfeeding, please consult your health care professional.

  • Breastfeeding provides the right amount of nutrients needed for baby’s healthy growth particularly in the first 6 months.
  • Breastfeeding transfers antibodies and other protective factors that help protect baby against common infections.
  • Breastfeeding will help a mother’s womb return to normal size and assist in using up the extra fat stored in preparation for making breast milk.
  • Frequent breastfeeding will provide nipple stimulation and help to increase a mother’s milk supply to meet the needs of her growing baby, so it may be difficult to return to full breastfeeding if parents decide to partially formula feed a breastfed baby.
  • Parents should always consider the social and financial implications before selecting a method of baby feeding.
  • Formulas should always be prepared and used as directed. Improper use of infant formula, such as the use of unboiled water, incorrect dilution or unhygienic bottles may cause your baby to become ill.
