To Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull:

We the undersigned call on you to reverse the cuts to Medicare that will result in increased charges for Pap smears, blood and urine tests, X-rays, ultrasounds and MRIs.

These tests save people’s lives. They are important in early detection and treatment. No one should miss a Pap smear or avoid blood tests because they cannot afford it.

In the end, these tests not only prevent serious illness, they reduce future costs on our health care system.

We urge you to act now and reverse these cuts.
