21 Wash. restaurants, chefs named James Beard semifinalists
The 2017 James Beard Awards semifinalists are out, and Washington is representing with 21 nominees.
These 21 were selected from a list of over 24,000 online entries across 10 different U.S. regions. The prestigious awards, now in their 27th year, narrowed it down to a group of semifinalists in 21 categories, from best new restaurant to best rising star chefs.
