A man has died and two people have been arrested following an altercation in Sydney's west early on Saturday morning, police say.
Emergency services were called to a home in Watson Road, Padstow about 12.20am on Saturday morning following reports that a man had been injured.
On arrival, a 30-year-old man was found outside the home with a stab wound to his neck.
He was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics, but died at the scene.
Police say there were three women and a man at the property when a second man arrived at the property, leading to an altercation.
The women were not hurt. The second man sustained minor injuries.
The man, 35, and a 25-year-old woman were arrested at the scene and taken to Bankstown Police Station where they were assisting with inquiries.
