The car driver, reportedly a P-plater, was not injured and remained at the crash scene.

Traffic delays are snaking back more than five kilometres along Moggill Road to Rafting Ground Rd in Brookfield.

Moggill Road between the Kenmore tavern and Chapel Hill Road, inbound, is closed and drivers should avoid the area if possible.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
