Traffic has eased on the run into the Brisbane CBD on Friday morning, after an earlier car and cyclist collision left the rider in a critical condition.
The crash happened about 5.15am on Moggill Road in Chapel Hill, with police closing one inbound lane between the Kenmore tavern and Chapel Hill Road, which has since reopened.

Just after 9am, the only delays left were through the crash area itself, no longer stretching back several kilometres down the road.
The bicycle rider, believed to be a man in his 20s, was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital in a critical condition with head injuries.
Meanwhile the car driver, reportedly a P-plater, was not injured and remained at the crash scene assisting police with their enquiries.
At the peak of the delays, the Australian Traffic Network said heavy congestion was snaked back more than seven kilometres along Moggill Road to Pinjara Hills.
There was also heavy traffic more than three kilometres from the crash site along Brookfield Road in Kenmore Hills.
The Forensic Crash Unit investigation continues.
