Stan RIcketts

ROSSVILLE — Robert Stanley “Stan” Ricketts, 59, passed away Monday, Nov. 14, 2016, due to complications of liver cancer. Born in Chattanooga, to Betty Ewing Carpenter and the late Robert B. Ricketts, he graduated from Chattanooga Central High School and worked at Southeast Painters. Stan loved to camp, fish, watch NASCAR and spend time with family and friends. He was loved by many and will be missed. Robert was preceded in death by his loving wife, Wanda Sue Barton Ricketts. Survivors include sister, Cindy (DeWayne) Griffith, of Acworth; brother, Randy Ricketts (Canna), of Athens, Ala.; sister, Debby (Steve) Smith, of Ooltewah; nieces and nephews, Chelcie Griffith, Brandon (Tanisha) Ricketts, Chambers (Melissa) Ricketts, Jacob Ricketts and Annalear Ricketts; and two great-nephews, Alex and Noah Ricketts. The family will receive friends 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday, at Heritage Funeral Home, Battlefield Parkway.
