Accountant Anthony Bell has appeared in court in relation to an apprehended violence order sought on behalf of his estranged wife.
Mr Bell's lawyer, Chris Murphy, told Waverley Local Court on Friday he had a document that destroyed the prosecution's case.
He said he planned to make several applications, including one to dismiss the case and another to have the matter referred to the Supreme Court for contempt over a news article.
It is understood police sought the order on Ms Landry's behalf shortly after she and Mr Bell were photographed celebrating his December 28 Sydney to Hobart win.
Mr Bell's supermaxi Perpetual Loyal claimed line honours.
