Portfolio Partnership Program (PPP)

At Victoria University (VU) we believe Year 12 students should have the opportunity to get into VU based on more than just their ATAR.

The Portfolio Partnership Program (PPP) is an alternative entry program for Year 12 students who attend one of our partnership schools. PPP is about VU assessing you as an individual and not just your ATAR.

"I applied to VU through the PPP, which recognised the volunteer work I had done in my community in addition to my ATAR score."

PPP applies to all VU courses offered through VTAC that require Year 12 applicants to obtain a minimum ATAR, with the exception of the Bachelor of Science (Osteopathy).

To be eligible for admission under the PPP scheme applicants must:

  • attend a partnership secondary school
  • meet the minimum ATAR listed for the course of interest (on this page)
  • as well as any pre-requisites listed against the course in VTAC.

Applications for PPP are lodged through the VTAC Special Entry and Admissions Scheme (SEAS) under Category 1. When prompted applicants tick the YES option. The application must then be endorsed by the Careers Advisor at the relevant secondary school by the VTAC SEAS deadline.

After applying

If you have submitted an application for the PPP, wait for us to get in touch. Applicants endorsed by their secondary school, who have listed a VU course that has a minimum ATAR requirement, will receive notification in the third week of December.

If you don’t meet the minimum PPP ATAR for a course that requires a minimum ATAR, you may still be considered for the course. This is provided that you have applied under other VU special admission schemes and also qualify.

If you need information about what to do next or about changing your preferences, you can get involved in one of our many change of preference activities.
