Inglis 2017 Yearling Sale moved to accommodate Randwick races

Updated

To avoid a direct clash with Monday's revised Randwick race meeting, Inglis has altered the selling schedule for the 2017 Classic Yearling Sale.

RacingNSW and the ATC announced late Friday that Saturday's Apollo Stakes meeting would be transferred to Monday due to extreme weather conditions.

In a bid to accommodate all clients, Inglis will now be starting each sale session one hour earlier than originally advertised.

Saturday night's opening session will begin at 5pm, while action on both Sunday and Monday will start at 9am.

As a result, an extra 30 Lots will be sold during the Saturday night session, and an extra 60 Lots on Sunday.

This will create a shorter day of action on Monday, which will allow industry participants to attend Day 3 of the Classic Sale and get to the races for the majority of the meeting if they choose.

The revised schedule for the 2017 Inglis Classic Yearling Sale is as follows:

Saturday, February 11th: 5pm-10pm, lots 1-150 to be sold.
