Marin Čilić (Croatian pronunciation: [ˌmâriːn ˈt͡ʃǐːlit͜ɕ]; born 28 September 1988) is a Croatian professional tennis player whose biggest success to date is having won the 2014 US Open. So far Čilić has won 13 ATP singles titles. His career-high singles ranking is World No. 8, achieved in October 2014. Čilić first came to international prominence by defeating then World No. 2 Andy Murray in the fourth round of the 2009 US Open. He followed this by reaching the semifinals of the 2010 Australian Open. Čilić was also a quarterfinalist at the 2014 and 2015 Wimbledon Championships.
Čilić started to develop his career at a young age; his first steps of tennis started in Bosnia and Herzegovina. His potential was discovered by local hometown coaches who saw him play and encouraged his move to Zagreb for further training. He was soon befriended by his countryman Goran Ivanišević, who introduced him to coach Bob Brett. Čilić turned professional in 2005, and ultimately hired Ivanišević as his full-time coach in 2013.
Novak Djokovic (Serbian: Novak Đoković / Новак Ђоковић, pronounced [nôʋaːk d͡ʑôːkoʋit͡ɕ]; born 22 May 1987) is a Serbian professional tennis player who is currently ranked world No. 1 in men's singles tennis by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP). He is generally considered one of the greatest tennis players of all time. He is coached by former Slovak tennis player Marián Vajda and former German tennis player and six-time Grand Slam champion Boris Becker.
Djokovic has won 11 Grand Slam singles titles which is ranked fourth in the open era tied with Björn Borg and has held the No. 1 spot in the ATP rankings for a total of 186 weeks. By winning three Grand Slam titles in 2011, Djokovic became the sixth male player to win three Grand Slams in a calendar year. He repeated this achievement in 2015. In Grand Slams, Djokovic has won an all-time record six Australian Open titles (tied with Roy Emerson), including an open era record of three consecutive titles from 2011–2013 (the first and only player to achieve this). He has also won three Wimbledon titles and two US Open titles.
The Davis Cup is the premier international team event in men's tennis. It is run by the International Tennis Federation (ITF) and is contested annually between teams from competing countries in a knock-out format. It is described by the organisers as the "World Cup of Tennis", and the winners are referred to as the World Champion team. The competition began in 1900 as a challenge between Great Britain and the United States. By 2016, 130 nations entered teams into the competition. The most successful countries over the history of the tournament are the United States (winning 32 tournaments and finishing as runners-up 29 times) and Australia (winning 28 times, including four occasions with New Zealand as Australasia, and finishing as runners-up 19 times). The present champions are Great Britain who beat Belgium to win the title for the 10th time in 2015. It was Great Britain's first title in 79 years, and first in the open era. The win moved Great Britain to third on the all time winners list.
The Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) was formed in September 1972 by Donald Dell, Bob Briner, Jack Kramer, and Cliff Drysdale to protect the interests of male professional tennis players. Drysdale became the first President. Since 1990, the association has organized the worldwide tennis tour for men and linked the title of the tour with the organization's name. In 1990 the organization was called the ATP Tour, which was renamed in 2001 as just ATP and the tour being called ATP Tour. In 2009 the name was changed again and is now known as the ATP World Tour. It is an evolution of the tour competitions previously known as Grand Prix tennis tournaments and World Championship Tennis (WCT).
The ATP's global headquarters are in London, United Kingdom. ATP Americas is based in Ponte Vedra Beach, United States; ATP Europe is headquartered in Monaco; and ATP International, which covers Africa, Asia and Australasia, is based in Sydney, Australia.
The counterpart organization in the women's professional game is the Women's Tennis Association (WTA).

You really hurt me, you left me out in the rain
You left me nothing but a lot of memories and pain
I thought that you were happy
That we would be forever but I was wrong
I couldn't see the signs you gave
You never even let me know, no, no, no
How could you say you love me
If you really didn't mean it?
I gave you all the love I had to give
Baby, I trusted you with all my heart
You took my love, tore it apart
How could you say you love me
If you didn't mean it, if you didn't mean it?
No, no, didn't mean it
I never left your side, I was there through thick and thin
And baby when you would cry, your heart I would always mend
How could you throw love away? You left me flat right on my face
I'm so sad, my feelings all have run away
And I'm living in loneliness, so lonely, so lonely
How could you say you love me
If you really didn't mean it?
I gave you all the love I had to give
Baby, I trusted you with all my heart
You took my love, tore it apart
How could you say you love me
If you didn't mean it, if you didn't mean it?
How could you say you love me
If you really didn't mean it?
I gave you all the love I had to give
Baby, I trusted you with all my heart
You took my love, tore it apart
How could you say you love me
If you didn't mean it, if you didn't mean it?
Tore my love, tore my heart, baby
You hurt me so bad, now I'm standing here so sad
Oh, babe, oh, my, my baby
Don't know what to do
Don't know what to say
Don't know how to feel, hurt me so bad
If you didn't mean it
