It may shock to see the radio jock Steve Price brought to tears, but if I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here! proves anything it's that celebrities have vulnerable sides.
And it wasn't the only revelation on the show, with Kris Smith revealing to ex-Miss Universe Tegan Martin that he has a girlfriend but he doesn't want to reveal who she is because of fears over projecting her into the public eye.

Kris reveals secret girlfriend
In a suprise twist, Kris Smith reveals to Tegan Martin he has a girlfriend, despite earlier claims of being single on I'm a Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here. Vision: Network Ten
Smith, the model and ex-boyfriend of Dannii Minogue, opened the show after spending a night deliberating whether he wanted to leave.
"I am just like low. I find myself complaining and I just feel like I am whingeing and pissing myself off as I am doing it," he tells Playschool actor Jay Laga'aia.
To the camera he explains: "I would never ever for one minute think it was this hard. Depriving my body of food to this degree, I have never encountered that before.
"Dealing with the mental side of it, too. The living inside your own head, the 'why am I here? Why am I doing this for?' Then you have to snap yourself out and say, 'This is why I am here, to make my son proud'."
But another factor for Smith's discomfort is the secret he has been keeping from the camp about his relationship.
He revealed his "very, very strong feelings" for a woman after being probed by Martin over singleton Ash Pollard (the former MKR contestant).
"I'm not single," he tells a bewildered Martin, who then asks: "Why do you keep saying you are single then?"
Smith: "I didn't want to expose it but now it's getting constant jokes."
Martin: "It's getting too hard, it has been easier to say you are in a relationship than single?"
Smith: "Nah, I just want to ..."
Martin: "Does she not want you to say anything? Does the girl not want to be mentioned? ... Is it early days?"
Smith: "Yeah, it's early days and I don't want any of the shit with the press getting on it. I have very, very strong feelings. But that's why I didn't want it to be objectified to a point where it's.."
Martin: "That's understandable. If you say you have a girlfriend you will have to go into who."
Smith: "I know. That's what I didn't want to do."
Martin: "How long have you been seeing her for?"
Smith: "Not overly long really."
He went on to reveal more to Pollard in a whispered bed-to-bed session in the campsite, who equally appeared to be dating someone."The last two days I have been getting paranoid. I am never paranoid," says Pollard.
"Me, too!" chimes in Smith. "I woke up this morning freaking out about things that I have got a gut feeling happening on the outside."
Pollard: "That stupid shit. Like is the guy I am seeing cheating on me?"
Smith: "Yes! Yes, yes. This morning I woke up thinking, 'Do you reckon..."
The cameras cut away to Martin revealing to ex-Olympian Lisa Curry that Smith has a girlfriend, but when they return it seems Smith has told Pollard about his relationship.
"You have done a good job to keep that one hush hush," says Pollard.
Smith tells: "I have got a lot of feelings for her..."
To the camera, he continues: "Although I told everyone that I was single, I am reconnecting with my ex and everything else. It is fresh. We are talking again about fixing things up."
Still, when it came time for Osher to deliver Valentine's Day cards to the campsite, Smith did not receive a message from his mystery ex, who could include Maddy King or baby-mumma Dannii Minogue, but from his son, who wrote: "Daddy is on top of the world. I love you, dad."
With tears in his eyes, Smith told his son: "I love you, kid. Be a good boy."
But the tears really flowed after Price got a letter from his daughter Lucy.
"Dear dad, thinking of you this Valentine's Day and how proud I am of what you are doing. Your determination in all of the challenges so far has been inspiring to watch and I never doubted you for one minute. I have a list of new stories to tell you about when you get back, but I won't ruin the surprise. Trump hasn't been shot just yet. Lots of love, Lucy.
"Very nice... (tears) When you get to my age you realise that our children are disappearing because they are leaving home," says an emotional Price, whose daughter is moving overseas with her boyfriend.
"It is my one regret about being here is my kids are leaving home and not coming back for a while and I am not there.
"So sorry, Luce, but thanks for the card. Kate and Wendy, thank you."
Ex-AFL star Dane Swan, who is also a father, tells the camera: "I just see them with Kris and his little boy and Steve realising he will miss his kids and I think that is when that got everyone."
Ash and Casey had already gotten a bit teary, but Lisa Curry shortly followed. And Natalie Bassingthwaighte's husband and children also brought her to tears.
Smith: "For me, it has cemented the fact that I know he is watching me. I know that Ethan is watching me and making him proud, so. That has made me want to stay.
"That is really weird. I know he is in England with my mum and dad until the end of February and I know he will be watching it. It has sparked a fire in me. I want to stay on and do him even prouder."
And to finalise the show, ex-The Bachelor contestant Keira joined the jungle dwellers.
"Why am I shaking so much? The next celebrity who will be joining Dane [for the next challenge], I can't even stop shaking, what is going on, is me!
"I actually didn't know that, but I am really scared."
