Trump says the NSA and FBI are behind 'illegally' leaking

NEW Donald Trump is pushing back against a growing chorus of suggestions that he and his aides had improper contact with the Russian government during his presidential campaign, saying malicious leakers inside the U.S. Intelligence Community touched off the scandal by talking to reporters. 'The real scandal here is that classified information is illegally given out by "intelligence" like candy. Very un-American!' he tweeted. The president faces accusations that he was needlessly sympathetic to Moscow, along with renewed suspicions that his foreign policy was informed by threats of blackmail from Vladimir Putin's government. He claimed Wednesday morning on Twitter that the firestorm surrounding former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn's (left) ouster is a media conspiracy fueled by vengeful partisans inside U.S. intelligence agencies, and that the Obama administration - not his own - was 'soft on Russia.

Medina has a job, a young son, no criminal record and protection under Obama's Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, Northwest Immigrants Rights Project legal director Matt Adams said. However, according to a Monday court filing by his lawyers, the agents told him that even though he was a DACA recipient 'he would be arrested, detained, and deported anyway, because he was not "born in this country"'. The sweep came as part of Donald Trump's campaign to deport illegal immigrants - although he has said he wants to focus on criminal immigrants.

California's Oroville dam catastrophe declared a emergency

California Governor Jerry Brown's request for federal emergency funding to aid in the dire situation at the Oroville Dam was reportedly approved by President Trump's administration on Tuesday evening. The governor expressed hope yesterday that the new administration would act quickly and favorably in the state's increasingly dire need for funding as the largest dam in the United States threatened to crumble. Some, however, were not optimistic about Trump's response to the state he's previously called 'out-of-control' as animosity mounted between the two parties. Engineers say they have been able to beef back up a crumbling emergency barrier at the top of the dam which threatened to give way over the weekend and sparked the sudden evacuation. Supported now by boulders and rocks, it will hold if the water level in Lake Oroville rises to capacity again but that too is unlikely, the Department of Water Resources claims, given the quick rate at which the water is being drained. Despite their confidence that the emergency spillway will hold and the lake won't fill up to capacity, police are still issuing an evacuation warning.
