WHITESIDE — Earl Keef, 82, died Monday, Feb. 13, 2017, at his home. Earl was a member of the Church of Christ, worked with Chattanooga Glass Company for 35 years, was a member of the Chattanooga Glass Blowers union and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved all of his family and was very compassionate to the elderly. He was preceded in death by infant daughter, Rebecca Keef; son, Danny Keef; parents, Fred and Josephine Keef; brothers, Bill, Charles “Bunk”, Phillip and Ralph Keef; sisters, Lucy Mae Sanders, Sadie Bennett, India Ola “Pink” Gibson, Shirley Jeffery, Thelma Moreland, Jean Gouger and Joan Ann Keef. Mr. Keef is survived by his wife of 62 years, Eulene Keef; son, Chuck (Melissa) Keef; grandchildren, Josh (Karen), Corey (Jaime), Chelsie and Brandon; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Joyce (Ramsey) McNabb and Clara “Pug” Prince; brothers-in-law, Ben (Judy) Hill, Burrell (Shirley) Hill; sisters-in-law, Bobbie Castleberry and Jackie Hill; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted from the Jasper Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home at 2 p.m., Central time on Thursday, Feb. 16, 2017, with Billy Watkins officiating. Interment will follow at Hooker Cemetery in Hooker, Ga. The family will receive friends for visitation from 2 to 8 p.m., Central time on Wednesday, February 15th at the funeral home.
