An inside look at Wall Street's most famous trader
Peter Tuchman is no stranger to the camera. He stepped on the floor of the NYSE in 1985. Now he's the face of the market's best and worst days. As technology and the business of trading evolved over the years, Tuchman says he's had to adapt and reinvent himself.

In part one of Money, Power and Wall Street, FRONTLINE correspondent Martin Smith interviews leading bankers, government officials and journalists to chart the epic rise of a new financial order—and the trouble that followed. As Wall Street innovated, its revenues skyrocketed, and financial institutions of all stripes tied their fortunes to one another. Smith probes deeply into the story of the big banks—how they developed, how they profited, and how the model that produced unfathomable wealth planted the seeds of financial destruction.
FRONTLINE’s veteran financial and political producers Michael Kirk (The Choice 2020: Trump Vs. Biden, United States of Conspiracy), Martin Smith (The Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, The Pension Gamble), Marcela Gaviria (The Virus: What Went Wrong?, Separated: Children at the Border) and Tom Jennings (Right to Fail, Opioids Inc.) team up to present this Emmy Award-winning documentary series.

Gekko (Michael Douglas) lays out his creed of business ethics and how to get ahead in business to Bud (Charlie Sheen).
FILM DESCRIPTION:
"Greed is Good." This is the credo of the aptly named Gordon Gekko (Michael Douglas), the antihero of Oliver Stone's Wall Street. Gekko, a high-rolling corporate raider, is idolized by young-and-hungry broker Bud Fox (Charlie Sheen). Inveigling himself into Gekko's inner circle, Fox quickly learns to rape, murder and bury his sense of ethics. Only when Gekko's wheeling and dealing causes a near-tragedy on a personal level does Fox "reform"-though his means of destroying Gekko are every bit as underhanded as his previous activities on the trading floor. Director Stone, who cowrote Wall Street with Stanley Weiser, has claimed that the film was prompted by the callous treatment afforded his stockbroker father after 50 years in the business; this may be why the film's most compelling scenes are those between Bud Fox and his airline mechanic father (played by Charlie Sheen's real-life dad Martin). Ironically, Wall Street was released just before the October, 1987 stock market crash.

CLIP DESCRIPTION:
Bud (Charlie Sheen) finally questions the ethics of Gordon Gekko's (Michael Douglas) view of capitalism.

Who Rules America: The Power of Wall Street | Financial Market | ENDEVR Documentary from 2012
Episode 6 - The Power of Wall Street
Who Rules America? takes a comprehensive look into the governing system of the United States of America and reveals the behind-the-scene powers that rule the nation. There are two Americas; one in which people have freedom in choosing their leaders within the framework of the constitution living in the land of the free, and another, wherein all is dedicated to the ruling 1% and within which a hidden network of power governs including the media, Wall Street, the Military and Corporations. This exposes from Danny Schechter (In Debt We Trust, WMD: Weapons on Mass Deception) lifts the lid on the true decision-makers behind the world's self-proclaimed democratic role model.

Note from the creator:
This video is to inspire to be bold. Success isn't as hollywood makes it out to be. Success an all day adventure that is unforgiving and unrecognizable until its eclipse. Success is made by training and presented at the top. Success is a series of compound movements that gather together to make an unstoppable force. Success is giving up to give in to the needs of your goals. Never back down. Always follow up, follow through, follow again.
Whatever it takes, no excuses.
