George Robert Stephanopoulos (born February 10, 1961) is an American journalist, a former U.S. Democratic Party political advisor, and chief anchor of ABC News.
Stephanopoulos rose to early prominence as a communications director for the 1992 U.S. presidential campaign of Bill Clinton, subsequently becoming White House Communications Director, then Senior Advisor for Policy and Strategy before departing in December 1996. Today he is chief anchor and chief political correspondent for ABC News, co-anchor of ABC News' Good Morning America, and host of ABC's Sunday morning This Week. He is also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. Stephanopoulos is also a common fill-in anchor for ABC World News Tonight with David Muir.
Stephanopoulos was born in Fall River, Massachusetts, the son of Nickolitsa "Nikki" Gloria (née Chafos) and Robert George Stephanopoulos. His parents are both of Greek descent. His father is a Greek Orthodox priest and Dean Emeritus of the Archdiocesan Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New York City, and his mother was for many years director of the national news service of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America. In his youth, George also became a follower of his parents' faith and long considered entering the priesthood himself.
Donald John Trump, Sr. (born June 14, 1946) is an American businessperson and media personality. He is the chairman and president of The Trump Organization and the founder of Trump Entertainment Resorts. Trump's career, branding efforts, personal life, wealth, and outspoken manner have made him famous throughout the country. Since 2015, he is also a candidate for the Republican nomination for President of the United States in the 2016 election.
Trump is a native of New York City and a son of Fred Trump, who inspired him to enter real estate development. After two years at Fordham University and while studying at Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, Trump worked for his father's firm, Elizabeth Trump & Son. Upon graduating in 1968 he joined the company, and in 1971 was given control, renaming the company "The Trump Organization". Since then he has built hotels, golf courses, and other properties, many of which bear his name. He is a major figure in the American business scene and has received prominent media exposure. The NBC reality show The Apprentice bolstered his fame, and his three marriages were extensively reported in tabloids.
This Week is the name of a number of television and radio programmes:
This Week is an American Sunday morning political affairs program airing on the ABC television network. The program is currently hosted by George Stephanopoulos and Martha Raddatz. The program is initially aired at 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time (following weekend morning newscasts on most ABC stations in large and mid-sized markets), although many stations air the program at a later slot, especially those in other time zones.
In 1960, ABC launched its first Sunday talk show Issues and Answers. One of its early hosts was Howard K. Smith, who also had his own prime-time public affairs program Howard K. Smith: News and Comment air on the network during the 1962–1963 season. Among the program's later hosts was Bob Clark.
On November 15, 1981, David Brinkley came to the network from NBC News and took over the show, which was relaunched as This Week. During Brinkley's run, three major sponsors were part of the show: General Electric, Archer Daniels Midland and Merrill Lynch. The names of the regular hosts have been included in the billing for the program, such as This Week with David Brinkley. After Brinkley retired on November 10, 1996, Sam Donaldson and Cokie Roberts became co-hosts of the program. Longtime panelist George Stephanopoulos became the host on September 15, 2002; he ended his first tenure with the program on January 10, 2010, shortly after being named the co-host of Good Morning America. ABC News Senior White House Correspondent Jake Tapper served as the interim anchor from March to July 2010.
Michael Richard "Mike" Pence (born June 7, 1959) is an American politician and attorney who has served as the 50th Governor of Indiana since 2013. A member of the Republican Party, he previously represented Indiana's 6th congressional district in the United States House of Representatives from 2001 to 2013 and served as Chairman of the House Republican Conference from 2009 to 2011.
Pence was mentioned as a possible candidate for President of the United States in 2008 and 2012. In September 2010, Pence was the top choice for President in a straw poll conducted by the Value Voters Summit.
Pence was born in Columbus, Indiana, one of six children of Nancy Jane (née Cawley) and Edward J. Pence, Jr., who ran a string of gas stations. His maternal family was of Irish Catholic descent. He was named after his grandfather, Richard Michael Cawley, a Chicago bus driver who came to the United States from Ireland through Ellis Island. He graduated from Columbus North High School in 1977. Pence earned a B.A. in History from Hanover College in 1981 and a J.D. from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 1986. While at Hanover, Pence joined the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity, serving as his chapter's president.

Donald Trump Interview on This Week with George Stephanopoulos. In his first response to a searing charge from bereaved Army father Khizr Khan that he’d “sacrificed nothing” for his country, Donald Trump claimed that he had in fact sacrificed by employing “thousands and thousands of people.” He also suggested that Khan’s wife didn’t speak because she was forbidden to as a Muslim and questioned whether Khan’s words were his own. Pressed by Stephanopoulos to name the sacrifices he’d made for his country, Trump said: “I think I've made a lot of sacrifices. I work very, very hard. I've created thousands and thousands of jobs, tens of thousands of jobs, built great structures. I've had tremendous success. I think I've done a lot.”

Donald Trump JR: FULL Interview With George Stephanopoulos 9/16/2016
In a quickly heated exchange on Friday’s morning’s GMA, host George Stephanopoulos got an ear full from the presumptive nominee of the Republican party, who went as far as to call out the anchor’s past work and relationship with former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Stephanopoulos and Donald Trump discussed the ongoing email saga in which Clinton used a private email server during her time working for the State Department. The real estate mogul fiercely attacked the situation, claiming, “She’s got emails missing all over the place! The whole thing’s a scam.” “I know she’s a good friend of yours, and that you worked for her,” Trump charged at Stephanopoulos, before continuing, “Though I know you didn’t reveal it. But there are a lot of emails missing.” Stephanopoulos served as the Whi...

In an interview with ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos on Sunday, Trump said Putin was “not going into Ukraine.” Donald Trump attempted today to clarify his comments that Russian President Vladimir Putin did not have forces in Ukraine. “When I said in an interview that Putin ‘is not going into Ukraine, you can mark it down,’ I am saying if I am President. Already in Crimea!” Trump tweeted. “So with all the Obama tough talk on Russia and the Ukraine, they have already taken Crimea and continue to push. That’s what I said!”
