Love it or hate it, Valentine’s Day brings the goods when it comes to sweet treats. And bacon.

For some, it’s all about the flowers and chocolates. For some, it’s just another day. And for others, it’s a day to lament singledom or to debate the capitalist nature of the day and its obligations.

Whether you are all about celebrating love or are embracing being #foreveralone, we’re here to remind you that food will always be there for you.

Like all good celebrations, themed food and baked goods will be exchanged between lovers, family, friends and co-workers across the world today - the best Valentine of them all.

Here's what's been catching our eye, starting with the sweet treats.

Still following your New Year’s resolution to eat a little healthier? No worries, we found some healthy Valentine’s food too.

Not to be forgotten, Galentines Day was celebrated by women around the world on February 13, praising female friendships and lady power.

Galentines Day was coined by Leslie Knopes, a character on NBC television show Parks and Recreation - and has been adopted by women as a hat tip to female love and friendship. 

Nevertheless:

For some, Galentines Day was also a way to express a dislike for Valentine’s Day itself. 

Finally, whether you observe Valentine's Day or not, we hope you all have a love-filled day. We’re off to celebrate with our number one bae: food.
