At the Standing Council on Community & Disability Services Advisory Council (SCCDSAC) held 4 October 2012 members agreed to establish a new Research, Data and Evaluation Working Group, to report directly to SCCDSAC.
The Research, Data and Evaluation Working Group (RED) is responsible for preparing and proposing the research, evaluation and data agenda for the SCCDSAC and for the Standing Council on Community and Disability Services Ministers (SCCDS). The RED provides strategic advice to SCCDSAC and to SCCDS on all research, evaluation and data-related issues. The RED is a standing committee of the SCCDSAC.
Membership includes representatives from:
- Each state and territory
- Australian Government
- Australian Institute of Health and Welfare
- Australian Bureau of Statistics
- Secretariat of the Steering Committee for the Review of Government Services Provision
