Elections due in 2017

Elections will be held for the Western Australian Legislative Assembly and Legislative Council on 11 March 2017, and the annual periodic elections for 3 seats in the Tasmanian Legislative Council on 6 May. But, with parliamentary systems, there is always the chance of an unscheduled general election to keep us on our toes.

Work is continuing on upgrading entries on past elections, curently Legislative Assembly elections in Victoria from 1856; see, for example the entry for 1917.
