Has this Perth woman penned the world's funniest Valentine's Day letter?

You might not make friends with salad but you can foster love, as one Perth woman showed in a most creative way on Valentine's Day.

After her hard-working husband jokingly complained his home-made salads needed "more personality", Perth mum Casey Waters* decided to pack him a special ensemble with a big side of cheese in the form of this classic letter she penned for her love in the lunchbox:

Casey, who runs local sun protection business Sunbella, originally wanted to print her letter in the daily paper's annual Valentine's Day Book of Love but baulked at the $440 publishing cost.

As it happened, the publication needed to fill leftover space in the liftout, so it included Casey's letter to her husband anyway.

Casey's letter to her husband appeared in the Book of Love in The West Australian.

And so how did her sad salad eater respond to his new eccentric lunch?

Casey's husband was clearly impressed with his special salad.

So after such an egg-cellent response to her beefed-up salad, WAtoday was curious about what Casey has planned for hubby's lunch tomorrow?

"I'm always open to feedback... I've asked him to bacon-structive," Casey told WAtoday.

"There's not mushroom in the shared fridge so it has to fit in his cooler bag.

"Whatever it is, I'm sure it will be grate... well a lot cheddar anyway."
