Getting There
Henan province has three airports that service commercial flights: Zhengzhou, Luoyang and Nanyang. The Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport is the largest hub, receiving traffic from over 40 large and medium sized cities all over China and Southeast Asia. Luoyang, located 10km northwest of the city proper, has flights arriving from Guangzhou, Chengdu, Dalian, Beijing and Shanghai. Nanyang services similar cities to Luoyang airport.
If you wish to take the more scenic route, you can arrive into the region by either local train or high speed train, which make stops at Zhengzhou, Anyang, Luoyang, Kaifeng, Samenxia, Zhumadian and Xinyang. The Jingguang and Longhai Railway, two of the nation's most important railways, run through much of the province and hubs at Zhengzhou.
