AFLW plays of the round

Jen McCormick snaps a ripper as Adelaide see off the Doggies, Mo Hope kicks her first but the Dees take the points, the Blues yet to be beaten and Tayla Harris will be a superstar.

The match review panel has released its findings from round two of the AFLW season, with Casey suspended for three matches for engaging in rough conduct, which can become two with an early guilty plea, for the hit that caused the Demon to lose consciousness before she was stretchered off Ikon Park during the Dees' come-from-behind win over Collingwood on Saturday night.

Downie, 28, has been cleared of structural damage but looks unlikely to face the Western Bulldogs in five days.

Should she accept the ban, Casey will be unavailable for the Pies' matches against the Brisbane Lions and Western Bulldogs. Having lost their first two matches, Collingwood face a tall order to make the grand final in late March.

The only other player cited this weekend was Bulldogs Laura Bailey, who can accept a one match ban for engaging in rough conduct with Adelaide's Courtney Cramey. A match-day report on another Bulldog Hannah Scott, for making front-on contact with Crow Rachel Killian was dismissed.

Davey - arguably best afield in both of Carlton's wins to date - was looked at for an incident during the first quarter of the Blues' clash with Greater Western Sydney - also at Ikon Park - on Saturday.

Davey tackled Giant Jess Dal Pos, who was left worse for wear, taken off the ground before complaining of a sore neck as she walked around the boundary line. Dal Pos returned to play out the game though.

Defender Davey - formerly a Matildas goalkeeper -has been the leading disposal-getter in both of her side's matches thus far. The Blues face fellow unbeaten side the Crows at Adelaide's Thebarton Oval on Sunday.
