Working with scrapers and with graders too
They clear the land, and oh do it so soon
(SPOKEN) Seriously, this is one very tough truck. It uses its blade in front to scrape, push and move materials around. And it uses its ripper in back to tear up hard ground. The ripper can have just one shank, like on this dozer, or it can two or more shanks. The shanks are the teeth that the ripper uses to break up the ground. This truck has a ripper with two shanks. Listen, can you hear it scraping against the rocks as it tears up the earth!
Bulldozers use big metal tracks to move around. This gives them plenty of traction, allowing them to work just about anywhere. You might see bulldozers like this one working in a landfill or a dump, pushing piles of trash around.
And here's another interesting thing about bulldozers: some of these trucks have decelerators instead of accelerators. This means that these trucks will just keep moving unless the driver steps on the decelerator to slow them down. Go, dozer, Go!

Komatsu D575A - is the largest bulldozer in the world. The weight of this powerful giant is 142.5 tons. The most actively used this giant American (mainly in West Virginia) and the Australian coal mining companies. In North America, it is not called a bulldozer, and superdozer (Superdozer).
Height of the largest bulldozer in the world is 4.87 meters, width - more than seven meters in length - 12.7 meters.
Engine power of this great machine is 1150 horsepower. Four-stroke engine has a 12th-cylinder water-cooled, direct injection and turbocharging. It seems for such a heavy machine power of the engine may not be enough, but it is not. All power, which has the largest bulldozer world is not aimed at speed, and thrust. Therefore, the engine power is sufficient.
The main tool of the machine is its blade, which can be moved in the z times more rock than the standard size bulldozer. Blade capacity is 69 cubic meters. In addition if the standard sizes the machine can get stuck in front of a major obstacle, the Komatsu D575A can overcome almost any obstacle.

Bulldozer
A bulldozer is a crawler (continuous tracked tractor) equipped with a substantial metal plate (known as a blade) used to push large quantities of soil, sand, rubble, or other such material during construction or conversion work and typically equipped at the rear with a claw-like device (known as a ripper) to loosen densely compacted materials.
Bulldozers can be found on a wide range of sites, mines and quarries, military bases, heavy industry factories, engineering projects and farms.
The term "bulldozer" refers only to a tractor (usually tracked) fitted with a dozer blade.
Description
Most often bulldozers are large and powerful tracked heavy equipment. The tracks give them excellent ground holding capability and mobility through very rough terrain. Wide tracks help distribute the bulldozer's weight over a large area (decreasing ground pressure), thus preventing it from sinking in sandy or muddy ground. Extra wide tracks are known as swamp tracks or LGP (low ground pressure) tracks. Bulldozers have transmission systems designed to take advantage of the track system and provide excellent tractive force.

For Children (Bartók)
For Children (Hungarian: A Gyermekeknek) is a cycle of short piano pieces composed by Béla Bartók. The collection was originally started in 1908 and completed in 1909, and comprised 85 pieces which were issued in four volumes. Each piece is based on a folk tune, Hungarian in the first two volumes (42 pieces), and Slovakian in the last two (43 pieces). In 1945, Bartók revised the set, removing six pieces which used tunes which had been inaccurately transcribed or found not to be original folk tunes, and substantially changing the harmonisation of a number of others; the cycle, now of 79 pieces, was reissued in two volumes (of 40 and 39 pieces).
The pieces were written as student works, and progress slightly in difficulty through each half of the cycle. However, in modern times, some concert pianists (notably Zoltán Kocsis) have begun including some of them on their recital programs, citing their musical value even apart from their pedagogical origins.

Truck
A truck (United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Puerto Rico, also called a lorry in the United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa, and Indian Subcontinent) is a motor vehicle designed to transport cargo. Trucks vary greatly in size, power, and configuration, with the smallest being mechanically similar to an automobile. Commercial trucks can be very large and powerful, and may be configured to mount specialized equipment, such as in the case of fire trucks and concrete mixers and suction excavators.
Modern trucks are largely powered by diesel engines, although small to medium size trucks with gasoline engines exist in the US. In the European Union, vehicles with a gross combination mass of up to 3,500 kilograms (7,716 lb) are known as light commercial vehicles, and those over as large goods vehicles.
History
Steam trucks
Trucks and cars have a common ancestor: the steam-powered fardier Nicolas-Joseph Cugnot built in 1769. However, steam trucks were not common until the mid-1800s. The roads of the time, built for horse and carriages, limited these vehicles to very short hauls, usually from a factory to the nearest railway station. The first semi-trailer appeared in 1881, towed by a steam tractor manufactured by De Dion-Bouton. Steam-powered trucks were sold in France and the United States until the eve of World War I, and the beginning of World War II in the United Kingdom, where they were known as steam wagons.

Komatsu D575A
The Komatsu D575A is a 1,150 horsepower (860 kW) tractor crawler available as a bulldozer/ripper, the D575A-3, or as a dedicated bulldozer, the D575A-3 SD Super Dozer. Equipped with a standard blade, both versions are capable of moving 90 cubic yards (69 m3) of material per pass although the D575A-3 SD Super Dozer is capable of moving 125 cubic yards (96 m3) of material per pass if equipped with an optional blade. The D575A-3 can dig to a maximum depth of 6 feet 9 inches (2.06 m) using its single shank ripper.
Currently the largest bulldozer in production, the D575A has been produced by Komatsu Ltd. in Osaka, Japan since 1991. Surface mine operators in the United States, Canada and Australia are the primary users of the D575A, although it is sometimes used in heavy construction applications.
Development
Komatsu first showed a 1,000 horsepower (750 kW) bulldozer prototype, the D555A, to the public at the Conexpo equipment exhibition in Houston, Texas in 1981. Due to economic conditions at the time, development was stalled for much of the 1980s. A successor to the D555A prototype, the D575A-2 SR Super Ripper, began field testing in North America in 1989, and full production began in 1991. The D575A-2 SR Super Ripper was joined by the D575A-2 SD Super Dozer in 1995 when the first D575A-2 SD Super Dozer was purchased and placed into service by the Princess Beverly Coal Co. in Cabin Creek, West Virginia. The current model, the D575A-3 SD Super Dozer was introduced in 2001.

The most actively used this giant American (mainly in West Virginia) and the Australian coal mining companies. In North America, it is not called a bulldozer, and superdozer (Superdozer). Height of the largest bulldozer in the world is 4.87 meters, width - more than seven meters in length - 12.7 meters. Engine power of this great machine is 1150 horsepower. Four-stroke engine has a 12th-cylinder water-cooled, direct injection and turbocharging. It seems for such a heavy machine power of the engine may not be enough, but it is not. All power, which has the largest bulldozer world is not aimed at speed, and thrust. Therefore, the engine power is sufficient. Their tracks of steel can work any terrain
They are so strong that, it boggles the brain
Working with scrapers and with graders too
They clear the land, and oh do it so soon
(SPOKEN) Seriously, this is one very tough truck. It uses its blade in front to scrape, push and move materials around. And it uses its ripper in back to tear up hard ground. The ripper can have just one shank, like on this dozer, or it can two or more shanks. The shanks are the teeth that the ripper uses to break up the ground. This truck has a ripper with two shanks. Listen, can you hear it scraping against the rocks as it tears up the earth!
Bulldozers use big metal tracks to move around. This gives them plenty of traction, allowing them to work just about anywhere. You might see bulldozers like this one working in a landfill or a dump, pushing piles of trash around.
And here's another interesting thing about bulldozers: some of these trucks have decelerators instead of accelerators. This means that these trucks will just keep moving unless the driver steps on the decelerator to slow them down. Go, dozer, Go!

Komatsu D575A - is the largest bulldozer in the world. The weight of this powerful giant is 142.5 tons. The most actively used this giant American (mainly in West Virginia) and the Australian coal mining companies. In North America, it is not called a bulldozer, and superdozer (Superdozer).
Height of the largest bulldozer in the world is 4.87 meters, width - more than seven meters in length - 12.7 meters.
Engine power of this great machine is 1150 horsepower. Four-stroke engine has a 12th-cylinder water-cooled, direct injection and turbocharging. It seems for such a heavy machine power of the engine may not be enough, but it is not. All power, which has the largest bulldozer world is not aimed at speed, and thrust. Therefore, the engine power is sufficient.
The main tool of the machine is its blade, which can be moved in the z times more rock than the standard size bulldozer. Blade capacity is 69 cubic meters. In addition if the standard sizes the machine can get stuck in front of a major obstacle, the Komatsu D575A can overcome almost any obstacle.
