The Tyrol is an alpine region trilingual (German, Italian and Ladin) in Europe, currently divided between Austria (North Tyrol and East Tyrol in the State) and Italy (South Tyrol and Trentino), which constitute the Autonomous Province of Bolzano and the Autonomous Province of Trento.
The region was the Princely County of Tyrol belonging to Austria-Hungary until 1918, when it was divided between Austria and Italy by the Treaty of Saint-Germain-en-Laye and ratified in the De Gasperi-Gruber Agreement of 1946.
Currently the region is being reorganized in the Euroregion Tyrol-Trentino Tirol-Südtirol/Alto, with a representative office, Tirol-Büro call or Ufficio of Tirolo, in Brussels, in order to improve the political position of the region in the Union European. As for the internal integration was installed cooperation office in Bolzano.
Volksmusik (literally translated from the German as "people's music") is the common umbrella designation of a number of related styles of traditional music from the Alpine regions of Germany, Austria, Switzerland and South Tyrol (Italy). It tends to be dialect-heavy and invokes local and regional lifestyles and traditions, particularly those of the Alpine farmers and peasants.
Typical instruments range from alpenhorns to hackbretts, zithers and acoustic guitars, and even violas and harmonicas. Harmonized singing is frequent, but other pieces may require yodeling, while instrumental arrangements are particularly frequent for fast dances or brass pieces.
Volksmusik continues to be performed by many local groups and orchestras throughout the European Alps and should not be confused with volkstümliche Musik, which is largely to be found in broadcasting media and on ancillary merchandise.

Kitzbühel, gesprochen Kitzbühl, ist eine Stadt in Tirol, Österreich. Sie ist Bezirkshauptstadt des Bezirks Kitzbühel und liegt an der Kitzbühler Ache, mitten in den Kitzbüheler Alpen. International bekannt ist sie als einer der bedeutendsten Wintersportorte Österreichs.

Zentrum Kitzbühels mit TouristenKitzbühel, am Fuße des Hahnenkammes (1.712 m) und des Kitzbüheler Horns (1.996 m) gilt als eines der bedeutendsten Wintersportzentren in Österreich. Gemeinsam mit den Skipisten und Liften im benachbarten Kirchberg in Tirol, Jochberg und am Pass Thurn weist Kitzbühel eines der größten zusammenhängenden Skigebiete Österreichs auf.
Den Urlaubern in Kitzbühel stehen im lokalen Skigebiet 56 Seilbahn- und Liftanlagen sowie 168 Pistenkilometer zur Verfügung, hinzu kommen für die Langläufer 40 Loipen-Kilometer.
Im Sommer gibt es 120 km mit dem Mountainbike und 500 km mit den Wanderschuhen zu erkundschaften.
Weitere Attraktionen sind die sechs Tennis- und vier Golfplätze, das Kitzbüheler Schwimmbad, Österreichs einzige Curlinghalle sowie der Schwarzsee.
Besondere Erwähnung verdient der Tourismus im Hochpreissegment, da viele Prominente und der Jetset unter anderem zur Zeit des Hahnenkammrennens hierher kommen.

Kitzbühel is a medieval city in Tyrol, Austria, situated along the river Kitzbühler Ache, now best known as a ski resort. It is the administrative centre of the district (Bezirk) Kitzbühel.
Tourism and sport
Kitzbühel is one of Austria's best known and fanciest winter sport resorts, situated between the mountains Hahnenkamm (5616 ft., 1712 m) and Kitzbühler Horn (6548 ft., 1996 m). The Hahnenkamm is home of the annual world cup ski races, including the circuit's most important event, the downhill race on the famous Streif slope. This downhill is counted as one of the hardest downhill competitions in the world cup. During summer time Kitzbühel also hosts an ATP tennis tournament on clay, the Austrian Open.
In 2007 and 2008 ITU Triathlon World Cup races took place at the local Schwarzsee lake.[1]
The Kitzbüheler Alpenrallye is an annual festival of historic automobiles. It was first held in 1988. The first trip of the United Buddy Bears was 2004 to Kitzbühel, following by the first trip into the "big wide world" - when they went to Hong Kong and many other metropolises on all five continents.
A further sight is the 3S Aerial Tramway, the aerial tramway with the highest span in the world.

South Tyrol
South Tyrol (German and Ladin: Südtirol [ˈsyːtiˌroːl, ˈzyːttiˌʁoːl]; Italian: Sudtirolo [suttiˈrɔːlo]), also known by its alternative Italian name Alto Adige (pronounced [ˈalto ˈaːdidʒe]), is an autonomous province in northern Italy. It is one of the two autonomous provinces that make up the autonomous region of Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol. The province has an area of 7,400 square kilometres (2,857 sq mi) and a total population of 511,750 inhabitants (31.12.2011). Its capital is the city of Bolzano (German: Bozen; Ladin: Balsan or Bulsan).
According to 2014 data based on the 2011 census, 62.3 percent of the population speaks German (Standard German in the written norm and an Austro-Bavarian dialect in the spoken form); 23.4 percent of the population speaks Italian, mainly in and around the two largest cities (Bolzano and Merano); 4.1 percent speaks Ladin, a Rhaeto-Romance language; 10.2% of the population (mainly recent immigrants) speaks another language as first language.

The Fohlenhof Ebbs Stud at the foot of the Kaiser Mountains is the official location of the Tyrol Horse Breeding Union and is where the famous Haflinger horses are bred. Further west of the Inntal the Alpbach Tal leads into an untouched natural landscape. At an altitude of nine hundred and seventy five metres above sea level is the remote mountain village of Alpbach, the most beautiful village in the Tyrol which has maintained its traditional character with typical timber built farmhouses and balconies decorated with flowers. At the junction of Unter-Inntal and Ober-Inntal is the Tyrol’s metropolis of Innsbruck, the Florence Of The North. The nearby mountains form a magnificent backdrop for the Late Gothic city centre whose main street leads from the Triumph Pforte to as far as the Annasäule and then on to the Golden Dachl. Volksmusik (literally translated from the German as "people's music") is the common umbrella designation of a number of related styles of traditional music from the Alpine regions of Germany, Austria, Switzerland and South Tyrol (Italy). It tends to be dialect-heavy and invokes local and regional lifestyles and traditions, particularly those of the Alpine farmers and peasants.
Typical instruments range from alpenhorns to hackbretts, zithers and acoustic guitars, and even violas and harmonicas. Harmonized singing is frequent, but other pieces may require yodeling, while instrumental arrangements are particularly frequent for fast dances or brass pieces.
Volksmusik continues to be performed by many local groups and orchestras throughout the European Alps and should not be confused with volkstümliche Musik, which is largely to be found in broadcasting media and on ancillary merchandise.

Kitzbühel is one of Austria's best known and fanciest winter sport resorts, situated between the mountains Hahnenkamm (5616 ft., 1712 m) and Kitzbühler Horn (6548 ft., 1996 m). The Hahnenkamm is home of the annual world cup ski races, including the circuit's most important event, the downhill race on the famous Streif slope. This downhill is counted as one of the hardest downhill competitions in the world cup. During summer time Kitzbühel also hosts an ATP tennis tournament on clay, the Austrian Open.
In 2007 and 2008 ITU Triathlon World Cup races took place at the local Schwarzsee lake.[1]
The Kitzbüheler Alpenrallye is an annual festival of historic automobiles. It was first held in 1988. The first trip of the United Buddy Bears was 2004 to Kitzbühel, following by the first trip into the "big wide world" - when they went to Hong Kong and many other metropolises on all five continents.
A further sight is the 3S Aerial Tramway, the aerial tramway with the highest span in the world.
