Research & Teaching Interests
Modernist, postmodernist, and contemporary fiction; modernity and the contemporary; trauma and testimony; poststructuralism.
I am currently writing a monograph, entitled Samuel Beckett’s Late Stage, which is under contract with Ibidem Press (to be distributed by Columbia University Press). It is a study of the relationship between traumatic representation and subjectivity in the post-war writing of the Nobel laureate.
