The Parkes Way tunnel at Acton has reopened after a car caught fire on Saturday afternoon.
Firefighters reached the scene of the fire just after 4.30pm.
An Emergency Services Agency spokesman said the fire was controlled and extinguished shortly after crews arrived.

ACT Policing had closed the tunnel and asked people to avoid the area.
