Ever seen a person’s weapon and assumed something about how they play? Well, you’re not alone. In fact, most weapons in TF2 hold a certain stereotype. This series of videos aims to go over some of the most well-known weapon stereotypes in TF2.

How did the 2007 version look (texture, lighting, animation, physics) compared to the most recent build (June 2017). All of this is still present on Xbox 360 and PS3 with Orange Box.
- This has been recorded on the 1.0.0.9 version for the 2007 footage and most recent Steam version for the "now" footage. getpos and setpos commands were used to record everything at the exact same angles and location.
- The missing blue flame at 0:22 is still present in the current version, it just didn't appear under that angle.
- The lighting difference at 2:51 is for the character selection menu only

Team Fortress 2
Team Fortress 2 is a team-based first-person shooter multiplayer video game developed and published by Valve Corporation. It is the sequel to the 1996 mod Team Fortress for Quake and its 1999 remake. It was released as part of the video game compilation The Orange Box on October 10, 2007 for Windows and the Xbox 360. A PlayStation 3 version followed on December 11, 2007. In Team Fortress 2, players join one of two teams comprising nine character classes, battling in a variety of game modes including capture the flag and king of the hill. Announced in 1998, the game once had more realistic, militaristic visuals and gameplay, but this changed over the protracted nine-year development. After Valve released no information for six years, Team Fortress 2 regularly featured in Wired News' annual vaporware list among other ignominies. The finished Team Fortress 2 has cartoon-like visuals influenced by the art of J. C. Leyendecker, Dean Cornwell and Norman Rockwell and is powered by Valve's Source engine.

TF2 2007 and now
How did the 2007 version look (texture, lighting, animation, physics) compared to the most recent build (June 2017).
