New York City was hit with a surprise blizzard on Thursday.

But that wasn't going to stop Keri Russell from attending Rag and Bone's New York Fashion Week exhibition party on Thursday evening.

The 40-year-old Americans actress, who was accompanied by her significant other Matthew Rhys, was sartorially set for the wintry weather.

Most prominently, she perched a large Russian fur hat atop her chestnut locks.

She also bundled up in a large-weave knit coat which featured a dark plaid pattern.

Underneath she layered a simple, low-cut white t-shirt.

A pair of dark wash jeans and some burnt umber-hued high heel boots rounded out her functional but chic ensemble.

Though it may have just been the chilly weather, her cheeks were tinged with blush.

Some dark eye make-up and pale crimson lipstick made the Felicity star camera ready.

Beau Matthew Rhys, 42, kept things simple in an olive jacket, black sweater, black trousers and plain oxfords.

As it was a fashion event, it was no surprise to see the likes of model Joan Smalls, 28, as well.

Black snow boots with chunky soles and a hat with her own name emblazoned on the front meant she was ready for the frosty onslaught. 

Her main accessory was a black shoulder bag with a very unique oversize chain strap.
