Dayau or Compassion is a fundamental teaching of the Sikh religion and teachings can be found on DAYA. The other four qualities in the arsenal are: Truth (Sat), Contentment (Santokh), Humility (Nimrata) and Love (Pyaar). These five qualities are essential to a Sikh and it is their duty to meditate and recite the Gurbani so that these virtues become a part of their mind.
The importance of Daya can be seen from the following Shabads from Guru Granth Sahib:
You are drowned, drowned in worldly entanglements. (4)
This concept says to not ignore tragedies that take place in the world but to face them head-on and do whatever is possible within ones means. As a Sikh you must feel the pain and suffering of other people involved in any tragedy.
Daya (usually spelt daia in Punjabi), from Sanskrit "Day" meaning to sympathize with, to have pity on, stands for compassion, sympathy. It means ‘suffering in the suffering of all others’. It is deeper and more positive in sentiment than sympathy. Daya, cognitively, observes alien pain; affectively, it gets touched by it and moves with affectional responses for the sufferer; and cognitively it moves one to act mercifully, pityingly, with kindness and forgiveness. One imbued with daya “chooses to die himself rather than cause other people to die,” says Guru Nanak (GG, 356).
Daya is the debut extended play (EP) by American singer Daya. It was released on September 4, 2015, through ARTBEATZ and Z Entertainment. The EP was made available to stream one day before its release on Billboard. A physical version of the EP was released exclusively to Target on October 30, 2015.
Matt Collar of AllMusic stated, "The debut EP from Grace Tandon aka Daya showcases the Pittsburgh native's bright, soulful vocals and electronic-tinged sound. Though only 16 years old at the time of the EP's release, Daya commands the mike with a highly resonant vocal style that fits nicely next to more established R&B artists like Beyoncé, as well as similarly inclined contemporaries like Lorde. Working with producer and songwriter Gino Barletta, Daya delivers a handful of empowering, passionate anthems that also work well on the dance floor."
"Hide Away" was released as the lead single from the EP on April 22, 2015. It has since peaked at number 24 on the Billboard Hot 100.
"Hide Away" or "Hideaway" is a blues guitar instrumental that has become "a standard for countless blues and rock musicians performing today". First recorded in 1960 by Freddie King, the song became an R&B and pop chart hit. Since then, it has been interpreted and recorded by numerous blues and other musicians and has been recognized by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Grammy Hall of Fame.
"Hide Away" is credited to Freddie King and Sonny Thompson (pianist and A&R man at Federal Records). However, in an interview, Freddie King stated that "Hide Away" came from a Hound Dog Taylor song called "Taylor's Boogie".Shakey Jake Harris, a harmonica player who played with Magic Sam, recalled "At that time me and Sam was playing at Mel's Hideaway [Mel's Hide Away Lounge, a Chicago blues club where many of the blues musicians of the era played]. That's where Freddie King's 'Hide Away' comes from. We stole it from Hound Dog Taylor, and Freddie King stole it from us. It used to be our theme song. It was Magic Sam's theme song. And so Freddie King would come in and jam with us until he learnt that song". Magic Sam recorded a variation of the song, "Do the Camel Walk", in 1961 (Chief 7026).
"Let Me" is a song written by Marc Beeson and Danny Orton, and recorded by American country music singer Pat Green. It was released in June 2008 as the lead-off single from his album What I'm For, which was released on January 27, 2009. The song peaked at #12 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, becoming his second highest-charting single, behind 2003's "Wave on Wave", which peaked at #3.
"Let Me" is a mid-tempo ballad in which the narrator promises to offer emotional support to the one that he loves.
Describing the song in a cut-by-cut synopsis of the album on Sony BMG Nashville's website, Green said that he liked the melody of the chorus (which contains multiple repetitions of the same note). He also said that the song drew his attention because it was a love song that did not explicitly use the word "love".
The song received a "thumbs down" review from the country music site Engine 145. Reviewer Brady Vercher criticized the song for being overproduced and trying to "garner radio success than pushing both [Green's and the producer's] boundaries to create something worthwhile." He also thought that vocally, Green got "lost" in the song and was unable to add any personality to the delivery.Washington Post critic Chris Richards said that Green's vocal delivery did not "sit right" in the "slow-burn" of the song, and Joey Guerra of the Houston Chronicle called it "stock country loverboy stuff."

Plot: Amid the epic landscape of the Mahabharata, as the rural outskirts of Delhi transform into an urban sprawl, an intimate tussle between custom and commerce, tradition and modernity, will result in carnage... Bhanu Kumar, a lower caste watchman, stands guard at his master Lakhmichand Ahlawat's silica mine, protecting it even after it has shut down. No one is allowed to enter the premises, nor even engage him in conversation while he is on sentry duty. He is a statue-like figure, watching over an abandoned property in the middle of nowhere. A creature of habit, Bhanu reflects powerlessness so complete, it can only make the world stand still. Exploited and abused by his employer, Bhanu survives the shame by disguising it as duty. Bhanu's wife, Saroj, watches in silent disgust as her innocent husband stands sentinel over his master's empty property, even when she knows it includes her in its compass. Then one day, Bhanu's monotonous world is turned on its head... The morning brings an elderly man to the premises - a businessman by the name of Dharambir Dahiya. He also happens to be Lakhmichand Ahlawat's prospective son-in-law. Dharambir is an affluent man and, ironically, older than Ahlawat. He is to marry Ahlawat's wayward daughter, known to have transgressed community norms with a socially "inferior" boy. In return for saving his honour (i.e. marrying his daughter), Ahlawat will "gift" Dharambir the silica mine property as dowry. The following night brings a young runaway couple fearing for their lives and begging Bhanu for sanctuary in the mine. Apparently, the couple are prime targets for honour killing. They claim that a contract killer is after them.... Bhanu cannot possibly make the connection. He initially refuses the couple shelter. But prodded by a dormant humanity, he relents and ignores duty. The disused gate of the Royal Silica Mine opens, exposing a bloody world of lust, fear, and violence in the name of ownership, caste and honour...

Let me convince you to put that bomb down
I knew it T.I.
What?
You wasn't really on that dope boy shit
I tell you what shawty, get in man
I'll show you how to tote that tool
Make that double
Better be cool, you don't want no trouble
Keep it leanin' to the left
My gat stay cocked
I'm always super clean when you see me on the block
Keep my money in a knot with a rubberband on it
Blow to marijuana, know I got it if you want it
See me standin' on the corner, slangin' that crack
You know how it is to be the man in trap
I'm the dopeman nigga the dopeman nigga the dope the dope dope the dopeman nigga
I'm the dopeman nigga the dopeman nigga the dope the dopeman the dopeman nigga
I'm the dopeman nigga the dopeman nigga the dope the dope dope the dopeman nigga
I'm the dopeman nigga the dopeman nigga (From a ki' to a G, it's all about money)
Look, bet all you see is tats, money, grills, and chains
But if you scratch the surface you can feel the pain
Names change but the situation still the same
The bills need payin' nigga simple and plain
Take a young'n who's aspirin' to get him some change
Won't nobody hire him so he get in the game
Went and bought a 50 slab, divide it up into ten
Sold 'em all, double down, did it again
By then you got enough to buy a quarter ounce
You sellin' dimes to forty fiends buy it and bounce
Throw some money to your momma keep some food in the house
Cop the outfit and the Jordans on the day they came out
Betta get ya self a pistol know the jackers is out
Flip another seven grams, oh you hustlin' now
Time to get yourself a half, make sure it's some glass
A hundred bags sell it fast stack a G now you officially
(I betcha think you pretty good at it now, huh?)
Now once you flipped a couple o's know the game get gravy
Take twelve fifty go git ya two and a baby
Yeah sixty three grams if you whip that right
you should get back five or six that night Stack that money and repeat that twice
Buy you somethin' to ride in, ya gotta be tight
Next time you buy somethin' take twenty-five hundred
Get four and a half it come back in nine don't it
Now stay low key when the money keep comin'
Keep some niggas on ya team to show these suckas they don't want it
By then your connect will clearly see you on ya grind
Shit you come to get a nine and he front you what you buyin'
As long as you bring back your money on time
And if you snort blow, do it on your own time
At this rate you'll be at a brick in no time
They say the want some weight, tell them niggas stand in line
(Stay with me now shawty, here comes the fun part)
Now the robbers plottin' on ya and your name stay buzzin'
You caught a sale case down in Macon with your cousin
Your connect ain't worried, you and him cool
He know you'll never tell what you and him do
A mob of a hundred just a few of them true
You heard a worker snictchin' on you and it's true
Everybody know you sell that shit

Tote that tool, make that double
Better be cool, you don't want no trouble
Keep it leanin' to the left, my gat stay cocked
I'm always super clean when you see me on the block
Keep my money in a knot with a rubberband on it
Blow that marijuana know I got it if you want it
See me standin' on the corner slangin' that crack
You know how it is to be the man in trap
