President Donald Trump welcomed the Japanese prime minister and his wife to his 'winter White House' in Mar-a-Lago after jetting off for a weekend of 'golf diplomacy'. At a dinner on Friday evening at the luxurious resort, President Trump was joined by his wife Melania, Shinzo Abe and his wife Akie as well as Robert Kraft, the owner of the Super Bowl winners the New England Patriots. The group enjoyed a lively evening as the President revelled in his winner's circle.

Russia is considering sending Edward Snowden back to the United States as a 'gift' to President Donald Trump. Trump has called the whistleblower a 'spy' and a 'traitor' who deserves to be executed.Snowden's ACLU lawyer, Ben Wizner, said he was unaware of any plan to extradite his client. Snowden has been charged under the Espionage Act and could face decades in prison. He was working as a contractor at a National Security Agency facility in 2013 when he exposed widespread surveillance on ordinary Americans.

They joined First Lady Melania Trump and President Donald Trump aboard the plane as he welcomed Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and his wife, Akie, for a weekend getaway at Mar-a-Lago. President Trump lashed out at Nordstrom this week for dumping his daughter's brand. 'My daughter has been treated so unfairly by Nordstrom', the president wrote in a tweet. 'She is a great person - always pushing me to do the right thing! Terrible!'

An Ole Miss student who is suspected of being on drugs was filmed headbutting a deputy as he was being taken to court Thursday morning. The bizarre footage shows Daniel Stewart Berry, from Brandon, Mississippi,  cursing at police officers before physically assaulting one as he headed into court. Berry was arrested for robbing the West Union Quick Stop on Highway 30 on Tuesday. However, he was detained by customers before officers arrived to arrest him.

He is the mayor of a small town of Asotthalom, on the border with Serbia. During the refugee crisis in 2015, thousands of immigrants started pouring into his town across the unprotected border each day (bottom). The border with Serbia is now protected by 100 miles of forbidding wire fencing.

A Golden Retriever puppy was found alive after being left alone for a month in an apartment by his owner, a University of Oregon college student who went back home to China. The four-month-old puppy, named Jake, weighed just ten pounds. He spent time at an emergency veterinary hospital then was put in foster care. Molly Monette, who is the Eugene Police Department's Animal Welfare Supervisor, was his foster parent and adopted the dog. Jake is currently six months old and 35 pounds, yet his growth was possibly stunted by that month. He now serves as a therapy dog for the Eugene Police Department.

The two had an emotional reunion after the seven-year-old's mother Paula Patton reluctantly handed him over in a court-monitored exchange in a public park. 

An alleged regional leader of the Beltran Leyva drug cartel and seven accomplices were killed in a clash which saw Mexican marines pour gunfire into a house from a helicopter-mounted machine gun. A video posted online shows the helicopter in the air while firing down below on Thursday. The federal Interior Department said the Juan Francisco Patron Sanchez headed the cartel's operations in the Pacific coast state of Nayarit and in the southern part of Jalisco state. A Mexican Navy official said Friday that Patron and seven accomplices had opened fire on marines and had barricaded themselves in the upper part of a house in the Nayarit state capital of Tepic. The official said that a helicopter gunship had been called in to provide 'dissuasive fire,' to suppress outgoing gunfire from the structure on Thursday.

Video captures the moment a man busted through a glass window to fight - and was promptly hit with a crushing blow. The physical altercation appeared to take place with people dressed up in green for St. Patrick's Day. A young man emerged from the glass, striking another young man with an object. However, he soon was struck by his opponent and hit the ground. The confrontation reportedly took place in Chicago, Illinois.

An adorable dog thought his owner's treat looked really yummy, but tried to play it cool when he was caught begging. A sweet video showed a man and his best pal enjoying some quality time while lying on their bed. The man was enjoying the tasty snack when noticed his hungry pup staring at him. But when he turned his head, the fluffy white dog pretended he wasn't begging by looking the other way. The man continued to eat his snack and the pup whipped back around to stare at his owner's treat once again. Possibly sensing his canine friend was secretly begging for his food, the man turned his head slowly in an attempt to catch his pup in the act. But again, the cute dog turned his head at the same time. The adorable video was captured in Cypress, Texas on February 8.

The families of Eduardo Rivero, 25, and 27-year-old Emilio Jesus Macias who were with Marlins pitcher Jose Fernandez, 24, when his boat capsized on a Miami Beach jetty on September 25 are suing the All-Star's estate, each seeking $2 million. Authorities say Fernandez had cocaine and alcohol in his system when the three men were killed in the wreck off South Beach.

The Duggar family took to Facebook on Friday to welcome the 20th child and celebrate his birthday. 'Happy 9th Birthday Tyler! We are so glad to have you in our home and a part of our family! Your bright smile and sweet spirit brings much joy to us all!' wrote the family, while also posting a photo of Jim Bob and Michelle out to eat with Tyler, Jackson, and Michelle's sister and mother. Tyler, who is the son of Michelle's niece Rachel Hutchins, officially became a member of the Duggar clan back in November, four months after he moved in with the family. He has also found a great friend in Jackson too it seems according to the Duggars post on Friday.

Family and friends have performed an emotional haka (main) to farewell stuntman Johann Ofner, 28, who was killed on the set of a Bliss N Eso music video last month. Mr Ofner was shot dead on the set while filming a music video for hip hop group Bliss n Eso and on Saturday mourners gathered at the Sacred Heart Church in Clear Island Waters on the Gold Coast to pay their respects. A black casket with white writing on it stood at the front of mourners inside the church (inset).'I may be gone from your sight but never from your heart,' one of the inscriptions on the casket said. Mr Ofner's order of service featured a touching photo of him and his daughter .

The Wyoming Highway Patrol captured dramatic footage of an 18-wheeler tipping over and smashing into a patrol car on Interstate 80 near Elk Mountain, Wyoming. Wind gusts were nearly 70 miles per hour when the crash occurred. Three troopers were outside of their vehicles assisting drivers who were involved in other crashes along the interstate. Nobody was injured, including the two occupants in the truck.

Erica Buschick, a special education major at Miami University in Ohio, was found lying dead on a bean bag chair in her dorm room at Morris Hall (inset) on January 20 after a night of heavy drinking. An incident report released last week by the Miami University Police Department detailed the chain of events leading up to Buschick's death, revealing that the 18-year-old had consumed large quantities of champagne and vodka with friends, had taken multiple falls and had to be escorted back to her room because she was unsteady on her feet.

Footage shows the woman washing the elephant with a sponge while in a river in Thailand. She is seen splashing water at his trunk before continuing to sponge him down. But clearly unhappy at being touched, he reacts by throwing her into the air with his trunk. The woman is seen getting back onto her feet at the end of the clip, seemingly unhurt.

Researchers have identified that celebrities with the most desirable pouts have a bottom lip that's 47 per cent larger than the top. The findings emerged from research by experts at the University of Southern California who analysed 50 years of model photos from Vogue magazine to identigy the most popular lip shape.

Shocking video shows a stolen truck crashing into an ATM and knocking it sideways. Three men then get out of the vehicle -- and try to open the ATM with the help of a crow bar, according to CrimeStopHouston. The suspects, however, fail and run from the scene, the brief video reveals. The botched robbery took place early on the morning of January 17 in the 100 block of Greens Road in Houston, Texas. As much as $5,000 is being offered as an information reward in the case.

A family of five are living in an old school bus because they were fed up of paying an extortionate amount of money on rent each month. The converted bus is equipped with a full-size bed, a kitchen, a composting toilet and bath tub. Brian Sullivan, 29, and his wife Starla, 26, bought the bus for $2,800 and after spending $30,000 renovating it, they are now living in it with their three children, Charlie, three, Henry, two and three-month-old Lincoln. The couple only have to pay $500 a month in rent to live in the bus in Renton, Washington, a third of what they were paying previously for their pokey apartment.

Sami Main, 25, from Brooklyn, New York, realized she was obsessed with eating 'healthy' foods after reaching a low when she weighed just 65lbs. After discovering she had an eating disorder, Sami, pictured left two years ago and right recently, started to improve her relationship with food by seeing a nutritionist and sharing pictures of every meal on Instagram. She now weighs 90-95lbs.

The chimp, now named Mado, was found dehydrated, malnourished and close to death walking through the streets of an African village with a chain around her neck. Villagers reported the chimp's poor health to an animal rescue center, Centre de Rèhabilitation de Primates de Lwiro. The rescuers rushed the chimp to the rehabilitation center, where she has been able to recover. Rescuer Itsaso Velez del Burgo Guinea said that Mado was held in a remote village north of the Democratic Republic of Congo, near Garamba National Park. Despite being malnourished and suffering from intestinal parasites, the chimp is a 'vivacious girl, with a lot of desire to live', the rescuer said.
