The family on the TV reality show 'Sister Wives' and several hundred other protesters in polygamous relationships and their supporters said Friday they won't stop fighting for the legal right to plural marriage. Holding signs that read, 'I love all my moms,' and 'If we were gay, we'd be OK,' the group rallied in the rain on the steps of the Utah Capitol on Friday afternoon. The demonstration comes a month after the U.S. Supreme Court declined to hear a case from Kody Brown and his four wives on the TLC show 'Sister Wives' challenging Utah's bigamy law.

Parents say black high school basketball players were targeted with racist chants during a game in western Pennsylvania where the home team was celebrating 'Hick Night.' Parents said Connellsville students yelled chants including 'Build that wall!' and 'Get them out of here!' at black Uniontown players. Golden Retriever puppy rescued after being abandoned

A Golden Retriever puppy was found alive after being left alone for a month in an apartment by his owner, a University of Oregon college student who went back home to China. The four-month-old puppy, named Jake, weighed just ten pounds. He spent time at an emergency veterinary hospital then was put in foster care. Molly Monette, who is the Eugene Police Department's Animal Welfare Supervisor, was his foster parent and adopted the dog. Jake is currently six months old and 35 pounds, yet his growth was possibly stunted by that month. He now serves as a therapy dog for the Eugene Police Department.

Orthorexic woman shared every meal on Instagram for a year

Sami Main, 25, from Brooklyn, New York, realized she was obsessed with eating 'healthy' foods after reaching a low when she weighed just 65lbs. After discovering she had an eating disorder, Sami, pictured left two years ago and right recently, started to improve her relationship with food by seeing a nutritionist and sharing pictures of every meal on Instagram. She now weighs 90-95lbs.

Karen L Jimenez, 19, of Benton City, Washington, drove her 2008 Chevrolet Malibu through a railroad crossing and hit a passing Central Washington Railroad train around 8am near Prosser.

The orphan chimp that begged for someone to save her: Chain-wearing 'pet' is rescued from the brink of death in Africa after reaching out for help 

The chimp, now named Mado, was found dehydrated, malnourished and close to death walking through the streets of an African village with a chain around her neck. Villagers reported the chimp's poor health to an animal rescue center, Centre de Rèhabilitation de Primates de Lwiro. The rescuers rushed the chimp to the rehabilitation center, where she has been able to recover. Rescuer Itsaso Velez del Burgo Guinea said that Mado was held in a remote village north of the Democratic Republic of Congo, near Garamba National Park. Despite being malnourished and suffering from intestinal parasites, the chimp is a 'vivacious girl, with a lot of desire to live', the rescuer said.
