The former Essendon AFL coach looked trim and in good spirits as he left his family home in Melbourne's upmarket Toorak to grab a coffee with a female friend. Hird, 44, wore matching Adidas activewear and a pair of Nike trainers as he shared a hug with the friend (left) before walking through the streets of south-east Melbourne (main image, top and bottom left). The father-of-four was hospitalised early in January after a drug overdose at home and has spent the past few weeks out of the spotlight to recover.

The video starts mid-way through the row, as an air steward tries to get the man to move seats (shown right). As the row intensifies and voices get louder, other fliers can be heard shushing the pair. The woman (pictured centre) then claims that she is a lawyer and 'knows' her rights, leading the other man to scream: 'I'm a lawyer too, you stupid woman.'
