Kelana Jaya is a neighbourhood of Petaling Jaya city, in the state of Selangor, Malaysia, comprising sections SS3, SS4, SS5, SS6, and SS7. The Damansara-Puchong Expressway cuts through this neighbourhood. The shopping mall Paradigm Mall is located here.
The current Member of Parliament representing the constituent is Wong Chen from People's Justice Party (Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR)).
The Selangor School for the Deaf is also located in the neighbourhood.
Kelana Jaya has a wealth of recreational facilities. One major attraction in Kelana Jaya is the Kelana Jaya Lake Park in SS7. Many people from other areas of Petaling Jaya and neighbouring Subang Jaya come to this park on weekends to unwind and relax among the greenery. Fishing in the largest lake is also popular. Next to the park is a collection of community recreational facilities such as a public swimming pool and courts for badminton, futsal, hockey, and tennis. The 20,000-seater Petaling Jaya Stadium is also located near the park. The Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Selangor Sports Complex is very popular and is a little further down the expressway from the lake park.
The Kelana Jaya Line (Malay: Laluan Kelana Jaya) is a light rapid transit (LRT) system network in Klang Valley operated by Rapid Rail, a subsidiary of Prasarana Malaysia. It used to be known as the PUTRA line.
The LRT line is one of the components of the Klang Valley Integrated Transit System.
The line runs from Kelana Jaya to Gombak, serving the Petaling Jaya region to the south; southwest and central Kuala Lumpur, and Kuala Lumpur City Centre to the centre; and low density residential areas further north. At 29 km in length, it is the fourth longest fully automated driverless metro system in the world, after Dubai Metro in Dubai(74.6 km), the SkyTrain in Greater Vancouver, Canada (68.7 km) and the Lille Metro VAL in Lille, France (32 km).
The stations are given in a north-south direction, consists primarily of elevated stops and a handful of underground and at-grade stations. Of the 24 stations, 18 are elevated, 1 lies at ground level, and 5 stops (Masjid Jamek, Dangi Wangi, Kampung Baru, KLCC and Ampang Park) are underground.

This is the video of me on the platfom of the Putra Heights Station getting on the train to head towards work on the morning of 30/6/2016. I was getting off at Asia Jaya station to go to Webe Digital. This is the day the LEP was offically started and was open to the public. The service started at 6am I was on the train at 6.45. It was a plesent experience and the ride was super fast and the station looked great.
