David Frost interviews Oswald Mosley. Frost interviewed the former head of the British Union of Fascists on his ITV show 'The Frost Programme' on the 16th November 1967. I do not own the copyright for this recording but I believe that it is important that this footage is available to those with an interest in British political and media history and the footage does not already exist on Youtube.
This scene from a TV drams shows the BUF's Fourth Anniversary demonstration, which was to take place in East London which was to become the media's 'Battle of Cable Street.' Several thousand Blackshirts were to march from the Royal Mint to Limehouse, Shoreditch, Bow and Bethnal Green in each of which Mosley would speak.
For weeks Communists agitated to prevent it taking place and on the day, October 4th, they erected barricades in Cable Street and other nearby streets, and fierce battles developed with the police who went in to clear them. To prevent further disorder, the Police Commissioner, Sir Philip Game, after securing the Home Secretary's approval, ordered the march to be called off, and Mosley, lined up with his Blackshirts half-a-mile away, and whose maxim was 'uphold the law until we change it,' marched with his thousands in the opposite direction to be finally dismissed on the Thames Embankment at Westminster.
The mass of Mosley's men had not been involved in the fighting except for a small number who were early arrivals at the meeting place where they were met by hundreds of Reds armed with a variety of weapons.
After dismissal on the Embankment many Blackshirts made their way to the BUF National Headquarters in Gt. Smith Street where Mosley from an upstairs window spoke to them in these words;
"We never surrender" he said. "We shall triumph over the parties of corruption because our faith is greater than their faith, our will is stronger than their will, and within us the flame that shall light this country and shall later light the world."
The Communists and their left-wing allies portrayed it as 'great rising of East London workers against Mosley' but the truth was that the mobs had been gathered from all over Britain and this proved to be the catalyst which created massive support for Mosley and British Union in traditionally patriotic working class East London.
Two weeks later Mosley addressed cheering thousands at several massive street meetings in East London. Called at a few hours notice there was not a sign of those that 'stopped' Mosley at Cable Street and six months later Blackshirt candidates polled nearly 20 per cent of the votes in the LCC elections in those boroughs through which he had been prevented from marching on October 4th.
As a consequence of the Communist organised street disorder, Parliament passed the Public Order Act making it illegal after the end of 1936 to wear political uniforms in public.
Former Labour Cabinet Minister, R. H. S. Crossman wrote (New Statesman, 27 October 1961):
"Mosley was spurned by Whitehall, Fleet Street, and every party leader at Westminster, simply and solely because he was right."

It was no surprise when things broke down at the Shane Mosley vs. Ricardo Mayorga press conference. Ricardo Mayorga lit up a cigarette and blew it in the face of Shane Mosley who smacked it out of his mouth. Things then broke down as the men had to be separated.

Shane Mosley
Shane Andre Mosley (born September 7, 1971), often known as "Sugar" Shane Mosley, is an American professional boxer. He is a former three-weight world champion, having held the IBF lightweight title, the WBC and WBA (Super) welterweight titles, as well as the WBC, WBA (Super) and The Ring magazine light middleweight titles. He is also a former lineal champion at welterweight (twice) and light middleweight.
In 1998, the Boxing Writers Association of America selected Mosley as their Fighter of the Year. He was also given the same honor by the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 2000. In 2000 and 2001 he was named the pound for pound best fighter in the world by The Ring.
Mosley has fought and defeated some of the most recognizable names in the sport, including Oscar De La Hoya (twice), Fernando Vargas (twice), Ricardo Mayorga (twice), and Antonio Margarito. He has also faced several former champions in Miguel Cotto, Floyd Mayweather Jr., Manny Pacquiao, and Saúl Álvarez.

Mosley
Mosley is a family name.
The Mosley family were the lords of the manor of Manchester, England until 1846. They also became wealthy landowners in Staffordshire (see Mosley Baronets). Famous family members included:

Oswald Mosley
Sir Oswald Ernald Mosley, 6th Baronet (/ɒzwɔːld.ˈmoʊzli/; 16 November 1896 – 3 December 1980) was an English politician, known principally as the founder of the British Union of Fascists (BUF). He was a Member of Parliament for Harrow from 1918 to 1924, and for Smethwick from 1926 to 1931, and Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster in the Labour Government of 1929–31, a position he resigned due to his disagreement with the Labour Government's unemployment policies. He then formed the New Party which merged with the BUF (which included the Blackshirts) in 1932.
Although relatively well funded, Mosley often overemphasised intellectual fine points that appealed to few voters, opposed free trade and associated closely with Fascist Italy. Mosley was interned in 1940 and the BUF was proscribed. He was released in 1943, and, politically disillusioned in Britain, he moved abroad in 1951, spending most of the remainder of his life in France.
Family and early life
Mosley was the eldest of the three sons of Sir Oswald Mosley, 5th Baronet (1873–1928), and Katharine Maud Edwards-Heathcote (1874–1950), daughter of Captain Justinian H. Edwards-Heathcote and Eleanor Stone (daughter of Mr. Spencer Stone, of Collingwood Hall, Burton-on-Trent, and Frances Mary Wood). His branch of the Mosley family was the Anglo-Irish family at its most prosperous, landowners in Staffordshire seated at Rolleston Hall near Burton-upon-Trent. In a senior aristocratic Georgian intermarriage, his father was a third cousin to the 14th Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne, father of Lady Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon, who served alongside King George VI as Queen (of the United Kingdom).

Ricardo Mayorga
Ricardo Antonio Mayorga Perez (born October 3, 1973), best known as Ricardo Mayorga, is a Nicaraguan professional boxer and mixed martial artist. In boxing he is a former unified WBA and WBC welterweight champion, and a former WBC light middleweight champion. Mayorga first became well-known to boxing fans upon being featured on the cover of The Ring magazine's December 2003 issue, which read "The craziest man in the sport: Mayorga lights up boxing." He has since maintained this infamous reputation with his relentless trash-talk in the build-up to most of his fights, as well as his smoking and drinking habits outside the ring.

Mayorga was scheduled to fight Mosley in an upcoming fight on August 29, 2015 on pay-per-view at The Forum located in Inglewood, California. After six rounds, Mosley defeated Mayorga by technical knock out.
Life after boxing
He has since stated that he does not entirely dismiss the possibility of a comeback. Sources close to Mayorga predict between Ricardo Mayorga and Antonio Margarito that's supposedly going to be dubbed: "When villains collide". The winner of the fight having one final shot at resurrecting his career and the loser retiring from boxing, a fight that will entertain fans not only in a press conference, but also in the ring as well.

Plot: A reporter itching to get off the boring gardening "beat" gets a chance to investigate a series of arson fires that have been plaguing the city. David Frost interviews Oswald Mosley. Frost interviewed the former head of the British Union of Fascists on his ITV show 'The Frost Programme' on the 16th November 1967. I do not own the copyright for this recording but I believe that it is important that this footage is available to those with an interest in British political and media history and the footage does not already exist on Youtube.

This scene from a TV drams shows the BUF's Fourth Anniversary demonstration, which was to take place in East London which was to become the media's 'Battle of Cable Street.' Several thousand Blackshirts were to march from the Royal Mint to Limehouse, Shoreditch, Bow and Bethnal Green in each of which Mosley would speak. For weeks Communists agitated to prevent it taking place and on the day, October 4th, they erected barricades in Cable Street and other nearby streets, and fierce battles developed with the police who went in to clear them. To prevent further disorder, the Police Commissioner, Sir Philip Game, after securing the Home Secretary's approval, ordered the march to be called off, and Mosley, lined up with his Blackshirts half-a-mile away, and whose maxim was 'uphold the law u...

This scene from a TV drams shows the BUF's Fourth Anniversary demonstration, which was to take place in East London which was to become the media's 'Battle of Cable Street.' Several thousand Blackshirts were to march from the Royal Mint to Limehouse, Shoreditch, Bow and Bethnal Green in each of which Mosley would speak.
For weeks Communists agitated to prevent it taking place and on the day, October 4th, they erected barricades in Cable Street and other nearby streets, and fierce battles developed with the police who went in to clear them. To prevent further disorder, the Police Commissioner, Sir Philip Game, after securing the Home Secretary's approval, ordered the march to be called off, and Mosley, lined up with his Blackshirts half-a-mile away, and whose maxim was 'uphold the law until we change it,' marched with his thousands in the opposite direction to be finally dismissed on the Thames Embankment at Westminster.
The mass of Mosley's men had not been involved in the fighting except for a small number who were early arrivals at the meeting place where they were met by hundreds of Reds armed with a variety of weapons.
After dismissal on the Embankment many Blackshirts made their way to the BUF National Headquarters in Gt. Smith Street where Mosley from an upstairs window spoke to them in these words;
"We never surrender" he said. "We shall triumph over the parties of corruption because our faith is greater than their faith, our will is stronger than their will, and within us the flame that shall light this country and shall later light the world."
The Communists and their left-wing allies portrayed it as 'great rising of East London workers against Mosley' but the truth was that the mobs had been gathered from all over Britain and this proved to be the catalyst which created massive support for Mosley and British Union in traditionally patriotic working class East London.
Two weeks later Mosley addressed cheering thousands at several massive street meetings in East London. Called at a few hours notice there was not a sign of those that 'stopped' Mosley at Cable Street and six months later Blackshirt candidates polled nearly 20 per cent of the votes in the LCC elections in those boroughs through which he had been prevented from marching on October 4th.
As a consequence of the Communist organised street disorder, Parliament passed the Public Order Act making it illegal after the end of 1936 to wear political uniforms in public.
Former Labour Cabinet Minister, R. H. S. Crossman wrote (New Statesman, 27 October 1961):
"Mosley was spurned by Whitehall, Fleet Street, and every party leader at Westminster, simply and solely because he was right."

He explained how he used to react when he would get hit with hard shots, and want to "get even" rather than flee from the confrontation. Sugar Shane also spoke on the damage that Muhammad Ali sustained in his boxing career and whether or not he believes boxing caused his Parkinson's Disease. Shane concluded by talking about sparring with his son and how he would never fight his son seriously.
