5 Fake Reality TV Shows Exposed. These reality shows are fake and staged. Today they are exposed by world5list! Fake but still fun, at least some of them :). Welcome to Subscriber Saturday! You make the list, we make the video! At number 5 we have Jersey Shore, as suggested by Brian Torres. We must say that it was difficult to find substantial proof that these shows were fake. But fortunately, we were able to find conclusive evidence that Jersey Shore was actually staged! In season 4, episode 11 of the Jersey Shore—which took place in Italy—a bartender supposedly throws ice at Snooky and Deena. Snooky goes off and proceeds to push several bottles of the bar. A classic Jersey Shore type of fit, wouldn’t you agree? Well upon taking a closer look, you'll see that the ice was not thrown from behind the bar at all! Instead it’s coming from a camera that they're looking towards. You can even see the woman who threw the ice and notice she that she's even is wearing an earpiece! It made us wonder if the girls were actually stupid enough to believe the ice was coming from behind the bar. But upon further investigation, it's easy to conclude that the girls are of course in on the entire thing! You may also notice that the bottles being pushed are cheap plastic bottles; meaning an easy cleanup with no broken glass! We're not saying we didn’t secretly enjoy watching this show. But this can definitely not be considered a reality show when the truth of the matter is that these scenes were actually staged! Number 4 is the Amish Mafia—requested by No Name. Amish Mafia is a show that—regardless of admitting to the use of reenactments—the producers insist is mostly real with a true storyline. Again, lets look at one particular instance where the producers were caught red handed: On the show, listed atop main character Lebanon Levi’s “rap sheet” is “Lancaster Police County,” which is also mentioned by a show narrator as the arresting agency. At number 2 we have Pawn Stars as requested by Ina Cartrette. Pawn Stars seems nearly like a brand in itself! They have a Facebook game that used to be really popular, they sell tons of merchandise, and the TV show is still a hit to this day in many countries outside of the U.S.! The producers are loaded, the old man is loaded, Rick is loaded, and even Chumlee is loaded! We happen to work a lot out of Vegas and we've personally talked to some people who've been on the show and admit for fact that it's fake. Non-disclosure agreements are signed by all actors selling merchandise..merchandise they didn't even bring in themselves! They're simply handed these items once they arrive on set! Pawn Stars did not do a very good job, however, of keeping it a secret that the show is staged. Indeed they tried, yet they still failed miserably. We will show you one great example again from the plenty out there that are left to be found. Season 1, episode 8: an old Coca-Cola vending machine is brought in that Rick ultimately buys. He then has the machine refurbished by one of his many “buddies”. The end result? A great looking vending machine. I mean this guy did one hell of a job. The problem? It’s not the same vending machine. It’s not even close. The old machine was a Vendo 39 and the supposed end result is a Cavalier 79. 2 different machines that really do not look very alike! Nice try Pawn Stars...you get an “F” for effort. And finally at number 1, we have Storage Wars as requested by Pedro Miguel. Ever notice how one of the main characters somehow always wins the bidding even though there are often at least 10 other people around? I mean, come on! Did they not think to have one of the show's extras win a storage at least every once in a while? We don’t even have to look at the show to prove that everything is fake and staged to an extreme degree. One of the show's stars made our job a lot easier when he sued A&E; for wrongful termination and “committing a fraud on its viewing audience”. Yyyyyyyyyyyup! After he was fired from the show, Dave decided it was time to come clean and expose the producers by accusing them of staging every single episode. Still need convincing? Take into consideration the fact that in almost every episode, three storage lockers are won and purchased in open auctions that appear to be attended by dozens of people but are never won by anyone other than the show's main cast members. Of the three lockers, one almost always turns a huge profit, the other turns a small profit, and the third one is a bust! Not that we hate the show, but it's just some food for thought next time you decide to watch Storage Wars for your viewing pleasure!
