Fadi Fawaz's desperate call to 999 handlers has been leaked after he realised his popstar lover was dead on Christmas Day. George Michael was found in his house in Goring last year. In a desperate phone call, Fadi tells the female call handler that George is 'cold' and 'blue' and confirms that resuscitation will not help. He says he has been waiting for the singer to wake up for 'hours' and then tried to wake him for an hour before placing the frantic call.

'Absolutely f***ing brilliant Yarmouth!' £50MILLION of drugs washes up on beaches in Norfolk - sending locals into a frenzy
A huge discovery of drugs was found on a beach after a pensioner’s dog peed on them as she took him out for a walk. The National Crime Agency (NCA) said police, Border Force officials and coastguards crews were searching a 15-mile stretch of coastline after 360kg of drugs in a dozen hold-all sized bags came ashore (pictured). A NCA spokesman said it was 'extremely unlikely' that the drugs' 'intended destination' was the rural stretch of East Anglian coastline dominated by the seaside resort of Great Yarmouth. The town though, which has been described as a 'dumping ground' for those on low-incomes and welfare claimants, has attracted a reputation in recent years for being a haven for drugs. The cocaine was strewn across a stretch of coastline between the villages of Hopton and Hemsby which have a combined population of 5,000 people. Locals on Twitter have posted about the unlikelihood of the massive drugs haul happening in Norfolk (inset). Some said they would be heading down to the beach to investigate the find.
Divorcee, 46, is dragged screaming from court after being told she might lose her £200,000 home to her disabled ex-husband, 40, almost ten years after they split
Doreen Crowther (pictured left) bought a house in Nottinghamshire (inset) with an inheritance and said her mother's dying wish was that her ex, Robert, who is on benefits, didn't get a penny. But after being told she might have to sell it to pay him a share, she launched into a finger-wagging foul-mouthed tirade at her ex (pictured right) and his lawyers at the Court of Appeal. Senior judges retreated to back offices as the hearing descended into chaos and security guards were called to escort the devastated mother from the building in London's Strand.
'Heartless' cold caller 'hounded an elderly couple to their deaths' by bombarding them with daily early morning sales calls and leaving them more than £74,000 in debt
Nottingham Crown Court heard how Barbara Stone targeted John and Olga Moyle (pictured left) on a daily basis, sometimes calling from as early as 7.45am. She convinced the pair to place adverts in a lifestyle magazine for the small holiday home (right and inset bottom right) they owned in France. But not a single booking for the property, near Nice, was ever made - and the Moyles were eventually forced to sell the Shropshire home they had lived in for almost 50 years. Stone, of Winston, Leicester, admitted two counts of fraud by false representation between January and November 2010, and was given a 22-month suspended jail term.
KATIE HOPKINS: The McCanns hate Maddie being named in the same breath as Shannon Matthews. But were the two little girls really so very different?

Her sister, author Santa Montefiore, made a tribute on social media (inset) the day after her death. The author tweeted a black and white photograph of a smiling Palmer-Tomkinson, and wrote: 'My darling sister. I miss you.' Today Santa and her husband Simon (both pictured) spent the morning cleaning the flat where the tragic socialite was found dead. unwell

THE WORLD AT A GLANCE
Army struggles to regain control of lawless Brazilian city where 95 people have been killed in just FIVE days since police went on strike
Military troops had to be deployed in the state of Espírito Santo after looting, rape and murders broke out on Saturday amid the industrial action in a row over wages, but even they can't wrestle back control. Since the walkout, more than 100 people have been killed in the metropolitan area of Vitoria, and officers' refusal to return to work has been labelled blackmail and holding the public to ransom by state officials. Schools, shops and public services remain closed in the city, and more members of the Brazilian army have been sent in to deal with the uprising.
