Join the Clique team and Fairfax Media photographers (attending photographers to be advised) for two days of photography workshops in Canberra. This photography tour offers participants the opportunity to shoot unique, exciting events and develop their technical knowledge along the way. Meet other budding photographers and learn photography from award-winning photojournalists who will share their experience and tips to help you develop your eye for shooting.

We will start the weekend off with a Clique-only walking tour of the National Portrait Gallery which features over 400 portraits of people who have shaped the nation. Following lunch, we will run portraiture lighting and architectural photography workshops to teach attendees how to make the most of natural and flash light and composition. Saturday night will be spent photographing the lights and sights at Enlighten Festival where our instructing photographers will share their best tips for shooting at night.

Early Sunday morning, attendees will venture to the Canberra Balloon Spectacular to capture the colourful the colourful hot air balloons as they’re inflated and launched. We will then travel to the National Arboretum for a workshop on landscape and environmental photography to conclude the photography weekend.

Accommodation

This ticket does NOT cover accommodation on the night of Saturday 11 March.

We recommend staying at Hotel Kurrajong, Canberra (www.hotelkurrajong.com.au) and will use the hotel frequently over the weekend for workshops. • In the event of unforeseen circumstances, and the advertised photographers or guests are unavailable, Clique will endeavour to substitute an alternative presenter. If a substitute presenter cannot be arranged, the event will be cancelled.
