If you want to lose your man boobs and are looking for an effective gynecomastia treatment, you have come to the right place. Keep reading to find the best options for you.

I created Q&A section at the end of the article to answer your most common questions on how to get rid of gynecomastia

Ten years ago, I already knew that guys shouldn’t have boobs. Guy have chests, girls have boobs. So you can’t imagine my shock when I found out I had boobs. Man boobs.

This is how I met that common, albeit embarrassing medical condition called male gynecomastia, the growth of breast tissue in men. While my doctor assured me this was not going to kill me, he did inform me that this may be the result of an abnormality associated with diseases like Klinefelter syndrome, a decrease in the production of testosterone in older men, a medication side effect, or metabolic disorders.

Gynecomastia treatment

Male Gynecomastia is mostly treated as a superficial condition that does not have any real bearing on a person’s health. Granted, enlarged male breasts hardly qualify as a life-threatening disease, but it still has a number of physical as well as psychological effects that have to be addressed. As with most other conditions, there are a number of choices in terms of gynecomastia treatment depending on the severity of the problem as well as the preference of the person.

Gynecomastia treatment without surgery is mostly preferred by men who suffer from this condition since it does not involve any cutting and all the risks that come with such invasive procedure. Below are some of the best treatments available for gynecomastia, all of which are non-invasive and by far a lot safer than any surgical procedure.

Available Gynecomastia Treatments

1. Getting Rid of Gynecomastia Through Proper Exercises

Just as there are specific exercises for building muscles in the chest and arms, there are also workouts that are specifically designed to facilitate losing moobs. If you are looking into the prospect of joining a gym, you might as well consult with a professional trainer and ask for specific exercises that will help get rid of your enlarged breasts.

Mild cases are treated with gynecomastia exercises mainly to tighten the muscles in the chest such as:

  • Interval training: alternating a series of short but intense exercises with those that are less intense and take longer to perform sheds off fat in the upper chest.
  • Push-ups: these work to not only tighten the chest’s upper muscles but also help reduce their size.
  • Incline press with dumbbells: the chest fat can become “lifted” and less saggy when doing an incline press using dumbbells to make it appear elevated.
  • Seated row: this helps eliminate man boobs by working the pectoral muscles into firmness.

2. How To Get Rid Of Man Boobs by Diet

Since breasts are made mostly of lipids, it will definitely do you a lot of good to cut back on fat consumption. If you are already on the hefty side (which is one of the causes of developing man breasts), it is prudent to go on a low-fat diet in order to allow the body to burn off excess calories. If you are using creams or pills for male chest reduction, a proper gynecomastia diet can help speed up the process of converting excess fats to usable energy.

3. Pluses and Minuses of Gynecomastia Surgery

Unless there is a medical rationale for it (i.e. if there are calcification and/or cancerous lumps in your breasts), breast reduction surgery is not a very sensible option for getting rid of man boobs. For starters, it is risky and the cost is too high for most people. In most cases, men are better off exploring natural breast reduction solutions before entertaining the prospect of having invasive procedures.

To those of you who are couch potatoes or want to get rid of your man boobs ASAP well you may need to resort to surgery. Some gynecomastia cases require surgical intervention. I know, I know, it sounds horrifying, especially if the last time you were under the knife was when you were six and had your tonsils out.

But, and this is a word worth considering, if your gynecomastia has been under treatment for more than a year and there is no apparent sign of improvement, your gynecomastia might be the chronic type and will require removal of your glandular breast tissue.

Given that there are safer and cheaper options on how to get rid of man breasts, men owe it to themselves to remain prudent and cautious. Keep in mind that your goal is to not only remove unsightly breasts, but also remain healthy and productive for as long as possible.

4. Topical Gynecomastia Treatment – Creams

Men who want to get rid of their enlarged breasts usually turn to topical solutions first before trying anything else. This seems like the logical choice since creams/gels/serums are easy to get hold of and are fairly inexpensive (although there are others that can really put a dent on your credit card).

Needless to say, I would prefer non-invasive treatments such as gynecomastia creams and pills any day over surgery. These are also less costly than surgical treatments, not to mention the fact that it’s virtually painless.

How to get rid of gynecomastia with cream

Creams can be easily and conveniently applied without the use of any tools or even assistance; they are portable to take anywhere and accessible from any drugstore or online store to use anytime.

The downside is that the result is not instantaneous and may take some time to be visible, if at all. This is because the skin does not absorb the cream’s ingredients sometimes.

I’ve discovered one of the most proven effective gynecomastia creams available on the market: Gynexol, a cream specifically formulated to fight gynecomastia’s effects by shrinking the fat cells around the affected breast tissue. There have been no side effects reported with the usage of Gynexol.

Gynexol, with natural ingredients such as aloe vera juice, retinol a.k.a. vitamin A, and extract of Ginkgo Biloba, among others, is formulated in a US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA)-approved facility. Read the user reviews to find out why this gynecomastia cream is recommended by health expert Stewart Perry.

Pros

Easy to Use and Apply – Topical creams and gels are just about the easiest things to use so you there is no need for any assistance or added equipment to apply the solution. You can also take the treatment anywhere and use it anytime.
Available Online and Pharmacies – You can choose to purchase topical gynecomastia solutions from any drug store in your locale or if this is embarrassing for you, there are always online stores that sell such products.

Cons

Effects are Not Always Impressive – Many topical products guarantee results in as little as a few weeks, but very few live up to customer expectations. Among the many drawbacks of using topical creams for treating male gynecomastia is that the ingredients may not be thoroughly absorbed by the skin, thereby negating the expected effect. While some products actually have the right ingredients, skin absorption is not the ideal mode of delivery so one cannot be as optimistic in terms of the net result.

5. Male Breast Reduction Pills

Just as there are products intended to increase breast size (in women), there are also those that cater to males with the need to reduce theirs. Gynecomastia medication is a highly popular treatment option today, as it provides significantly better results compared to other non-invasive methods.

Since the active ingredients are consumed and processed by the body, there is a better chance of getting the most out of the components. In most cases, breast reduction pills for men are made of components that either boost testosterone levels or reduce estrogen levels in the body (other products do both), which would eliminate the side effect which is breast enlargement.

For those of you who want to lose man boobs by ingesting the cure rather than spreading it on your chest, take pills specifically formulated for gynecomastia such as Gynexin. I’ve tried it myself and it works. Like its cream counterpart Gynexol, Gynexin has a 99% average success rate in treating gynecomastia.Gynexin best gynecomastia pill

Formulated using ingredients like green tea extract, caffeine, theobromine cacao, guggulsterones, and scaleorides, among others, Gynexin helps reduce both the size as well as the number of fat cells present in the breast tissue, according to my doctor. With a dosage of two Gynexin pills a day, I’ve experienced tightening of the torso in three weeks.

The number of testimonials citing the effectiveness of Gynexin has been growing. Check out the official website of Gynexin to confirm what satisfied users have been raving about: the loss of man boobs in less than six months at a fraction of the cost of gynecomastia surgery.

Absorption of a pill’s ingredients is what makes a gynecomastia pill the better choice when it comes to results. This fast absorption rate enables the ingredients in the pill to distribute its curative value more quickly to the targeted area, he explained. This quick assimilation into the body apparently also helps maximize Gynexin’s potency to work on the upper chest immediately so there is less treatment time.

Pills for gynecomastia are portable like their cream versions but more cost efficient. Not all gynecomastia pills are created equal, though, that’s why you have to be sure that you’re consuming the one without the additives or preservatives. Buy a pill like Gynexin that has been formulated with quality ingredients in the right proportions.

Like any other medication, however, there is a downside to gynecomastia pills. Because different manufacturers formulate gynecomastia pills with various ingredients of their own choosing in different amounts, the results will obviously be varied as well; this means that while some of these pills will be able to provide results within a short period of time, others will take several months for you to notice changes.

And while pills to treat gynecomastia aren’t necessarily cheap (their prices usually start at around $50 for a 30-day supply) if you compare prices like that with the cost of surgery, these pills are don’t come anywhere expensive at all. To help you make an informed choice, read on about how breast reduction pills may or may not be ideal for you.

How to get rid of man boobs for good

Male breast reduction pills are ideal for individuals who:

  • Want an option other than a surgical procedure to get rid of their man boobs.
  • Determined to control their daily calorie intake and commit to a physical fitness regimen (especially exercises to rid the upper chest of unwanted fat) to speed up metabolism to burn calories and fat.
  • Have no available free time to undergo a customized breast reduction treatment such as surgery.
  • Are unable to acquire insurance coverage for a surgical procedure; some insurance companies will refuse you coverage primarily on the basis that breast reduction is a cosmetic procedure.

Not ideal for individuals who:

  • Want breast reduction that is contoured or sculpted like the kind done on celebrities.
  • Require immediate results because of an event or occasion like a wedding or an awarding ceremony; a compression vest would be the ideal choice for a need such as this.

Pros

Easy and Safe to Use – Gynecomastia pills are just as easy to use as topical creams, perhaps even more so. In addition, these pills are safe to consume even on a regular basis (caveat: not all pills have the same formulation so be sure to find a product that is all natural and devoid of any preservatives or additives), so it does not pose any threat to your health. As long as you follow the required dosage and not deviate from the recommended daily intake, you can expect more or less desirable results.

Natural solutions for gynecomastia

Significantly Less Expensive than Creams – Based on the prevailing prices of breast reduction creams and other similar topical treatments today, consumers will be better off saving money by opting for pills instead. Most products are packaged into 30 or 60 pills for each bottle, which lasts for about a month or two (depending on the formulation) of continuous usage. Since you are already spending good money, you might as well go for something that is not only cost-efficient but effective as well.

Cons

Products Vary in Efficacy – The sad truth is that since different manufacturers use different ingredients to formulate gynecomastia pills, the results also vary. The crux of the problem when it comes to choosing breast reduction pills is that some products are simply not as effective as others so consumers often find themselves lost in a sea of endless choices. Some of the best male breast reduction medication provide results in a mere few weeks, while mediocre second rate products take months before you can see anything changes.

Natural Pills Versus Prescriptions Medication

Just as there are medical-grade weight loss pills, there are also prescription gynecomastia drugs. Most people would think that they are better off with prescription drugs, but this is not always the case. In fact, there are natural pills that are formulated to a level that can rival expensive prescriptive narcotics. Gynexin, for instance, is a natural gynecomastia treatment that targets fat cells and reduces the lipids to inconsequential levels.

Herbal-based breast reduction pills have little or no adverse side effects simply because the body is more responsive to natural components than to synthetic ones.

How to get rid of moobs fast

Why Choose Herbal Based Pills to get rid of gynecomastia?

There is much debate as to the merits of herbal-based supplements and why consumers choose to use it instead of medical-grade pharmacologicals. Apart from safety, which includes the elimination of as many side effects as possible, herbal supplements work better as the human body is more receptive to natural components than synthetic ones. The product Gynexin is an example of prime-grade breast reduction pills that are made of 100% all natural ingredients (including but not limited to cacao, green tea extract, and concentrated caffeine), that make for an excellent formula that targets excess fat on the breasts.

One of the biggest reasons why the breast reduction pill treatment may not work for some is that a majority of males ends up buying the wrong product.

Choosing Products Wisely

Customer testimonials and reviewsI hope that by now you know how to lose man boobs, at least you should have few effective options available. Gynecomastia treatment without surgery is not only possible but also highly reliable, thanks to natural products that are not only safe but also very effective. Since not all male breast reduction solutions work the same, it is important to know which ones are worth buying based on the testimonials of other customers as well as reliable and honest reviews by experts.

It may not be easy to spot hyped-up products these days, but excellent ones are easier to find due to how popular they are not only to customers but also among health professionals who know exactly what works and what does not. Enlarged male breasts need not be a long term burden, especially because there are excellent solutions that work faster than what you might expect.

Each of these treatment options has its own set of advantages and disadvantages. Choosing one over the other will require some serious thinking on your part before you make a decision that could impact your life later on.

Factors such as,

  • how quickly do you want your moobs to disappear,
  • whether or not you are willing to undergo surgery,
  • can you afford the surgery
  • committing to go on a diet for gynecomastia
  • having the determination to exercise or workout until you get rid of man boobs

…are only some of the things you will have to consider before choosing any of the treatments mentioned. Just remember that whatever type of treatment you choose, it should be safe and not be a hazard to your health in the future. I consider Gynexin to be my gynecomastia treatment of choice because it’s worked for me. I’m quite confident you’ll find your answer from any one of the options I’ve provided.

Q&A – Readers Questions Answered

What is gynecomastia treatment?

There are several types of treatment available for gynecomastia. Sometimes there’s no treatment needed but time and only the pain will be addressed by taking ibuprofen. In other cases, it may be a simple matter of stopping the consumption of the drug that’s causing gynecomastia as a side effect. Anabolic steroids are known to enlarge breasts, and ceasing the use of these substances can reduce the breasts back to their normal form.

In other cases, a doctor may recommend the off-label or experimental use of certain medications. That’s because the FDA so far has not yet approved any drug for the treatment of the condition. But these medications may include testosterone replacement, clomiphene, tamoxifen, and Danazol. Other options include herbal pills and creams.

Other doctors may offer breast reduction surgery, which can remove either the excessive breast tissue growth or the fatty deposits in the chest area.

How much does gynecomastia treatment cost?

It’s really difficult to gauge the total cost of your gynecomastia treatment, as there are numerous options that your doctor can recommend. In fact, you may not even need treatment at all, especially in cases of teenage male breast enlargement. The breasts will go back to their normal size and shape within a 2 to 3 years on their own. All the teen will need to buy are the ibuprofen and ice packs that can reduce the pain in the meantime.

Surgery can be more expensive, and it can run into thousands of dollars. In some rare cases, the enlargement may even be caused by breast cancer. So you’ll need to calculate the total cost of the cancer treatment. You can also try alternative treatments in form of pills or creams where the cost of the medication is around $60-$70 monthly.

How to get rid of gynecomastia naturally?

If it’s caused by glandular issues, then perhaps you can stop taking any medication that’s causing the hormonal imbalance. Some of these drugs may only cause temporary enlargement of the breasts, but some do cause irreversible problems.

If the condition is caused by excess fat in the chest area, then you need to go on a weight loss program. Basically, this means causing a calorie imbalance, so you use up more calories than you consume so your body then burns the body fat for energy. In other words, you need to exercise more while you decrease your calorie intake in your diet. In addition to proper diet and exercise, you can use natural pills or creams to speed up the process of losing man boobs.

How can gynecomastia be reduced?

Usually, you can reduce the problem by simply stopping the medication you’re taking that’s causing the breast enlargement as a side effect. If the problem is caused by anabolic steroids, however, usually the reduction may only be possible with breast reduction surgery.

If your breasts are large due to excess fat deposits, then you will have to exercise and diet properly to reduce the fatty deposits in your chest.Of course, there is a spectrum of natural pills and creams that help too and you can read reviews on this website. If you want to know how to get rid of gynecomastia with gyno pills check this article.

Is it possible to reverse gynecomastia without surgery?

Yes in some cases. In pubertal gynecomastia, usually you just need to wait a few years. For obesity-related cases, you need proper diet and exercise and plus some natural supplements can help you speed up the process. For some hormonal-related cases, it may be just about ceasing to take the medications that caused the problem, or taking non-surgery treatments like testosterone shots and medications to treat the gyno lump.

Which steroids cause gynecomastia?

Basically, all of them cause gynecomastia in one way or another. Many of them aromatize, which means that the body can take some of the testosterone you put in and convert it into estrogen, which then causes the enlarged breasts.

Get rid of your man boobsSome other steroids don’t really aromatize (particularly the DHT-derived steroids) so this effect is minimal. What you have to keep in mind is that when you take steroids, your body stops producing testosterone naturally. So when you stop taking the steroids after a cycle, your body is still producing estrogen while it doesn’t produce enough testosterone to counterbalance the estrogen’s effects. So you get a hormonal imbalance, which can result in larger breasts. Gynectrol is a natural supplement created to particularly combat gynecomastia caused by anabolic steroids abuse.

What causes gynecomastia in bodybuilders?

In general, this problem is caused by whatever bodybuilders are taking to increase their testosterone levels. In most cases, they’re taking anabolic steroids. Very rarely do bodybuilders have moobs due to fatty deposits. After all, one of the goals of bodybuilding is the reduction of body fat.

Which foods reduce gynecomastia?

If your gynecomastia is caused by a hormonal imbalance or low testosterone, then you may want to load up on food items that contain large amounts of nutrients that may help boost your testosterone level. These nutrients include vitamin D (tuna, low-fat milk) and zinc (oysters, shellfish, ground beef).

Other food items that should be in gynecomastia diet and may increase testosterone levels include eggs, pomegranates, beans, avocados, and potatoes.

What if your man tits are caused by excess fat deposits? Then you need to fill your diet with low-calorie food items instead. Start with more lean meat and vegetables instead of fast food.

What causes gynecomastia in puberty?

Pubertal gynecomastia can be a nightmarish situation for teenage boys, but it’s actually a common phenomenon. Some experts estimate that about half of all boys will go through some form of breast enlargement during this time.

The cause for this condition is suspected to be the hormonal imbalance between your androgen and estrogen levels. Estrogen can considerably stimulate the mammary glands while the androgen inhibits the mammary glands weakly. At this point, some boys may not yet produce enough androgen to counteract the estrogen’s effect on the breasts. So the teen will have to wait a few years until the puberty stage is complete before the hormones balance out and the breasts revert to their normal size and shape.

However, the breast enlargement may also be caused by teenage obesity. So even if the hormones balance out eventually, the fatty deposits in the breasts may still cause the man boobs.

Hi Ruzbihan,

You must consult your doctor first to diagnose the nature of your condition. I’m a former sufferer not doctor so I can’t diagnose your case. After checking with doctor you can choose your way to get rid of your man boobs by either surgery or non invasive treatments.

Good luck,

Hi Nayan.
You really should consult this with a doctor first. If you are 26 and you still have it, it means it’s not puberty gynecomastia so it won’t go without treatment. Both pills and creams can help, but I’m not able to say which one would be better for you. I’m sorry but I’m not qualified to diagnose you. I helped myself using mainly pills but also adding cream at some point. I hope you will get rid of you problem soon.

If you are under 20 years old I would follow your doctor advice and wait as it can dissappear on its own. You cn always try to do chest building exercises to accelearate the process. In case you are over 20 already I would try Gynexin or Gynexol for 1 month to see if you are getting any results.

Hi Raju. Surgery definitely can help but it’s rather expensive. I woud try Gynexin for 2-3 months to see what results you are getting. Using it together with Gynexol would be even more effective as cream work from the outside. You can always have surgery later if results won’t satisfy you but try alternatives first.

Hi Muneeb. I’m not sure if in your case it’s still pubertal gynecomastia or an adult version. You definitely should consult a doctor to check it. Obviously both cream or pills can help, but you are still young and your man boobs can be gone without treatment when your hormones settle down after puberty. Healthy diet and exercises will help too.

Regarding side effects of Gynexin and Gynexol there are no side effects of Gynexol cream, as long you are not allergic to one of its ingredients. In case of Gynexin pills there are not serious side effects, however Gynexin is a stimulant and has high doses of caffeine therefore is not recommended if you have heart problems.

(1) I have gynecomastia on my both breasts, but my right breast is significantly larger than the left one. The first time I noticed this condition on my body was when I was around eleven years old. Now I am forty six years old, but nothing has changed. I frequently feel slight pain on my right breast, but I feel no pain on my left breast. I am not an over-weighted man, although I do have some excess fat on my body. I think that my gynecomastia is primary due to increased glandular breast tissue. If it was only due to excess fat, my two breasts would be symmetrically largre. I do not like the idea of having a surgery or taking pills. Do you think gynexol cream would help? Since gynexol primarily burns chest fat, I think it will not reduce glandular breast tissue.
(2) I have heard medical doctors saying that exercises may increase the problem, in case gynecomastia is due to increased glandular breast tissue. Strong breast muscles beneath an increased glandular breast tissue make this tissue more pointy.
I would appreciate your answers.

Hi Andrew. I’m afraid that in your case surgery would be the best option. I’m not sure if Gynexol woul be effective in your case. As you mentioned Gynexol mainly burn fat and you have increased glandular breast tissue, so probably not the best option for you.
Regarding your second question I do not agree with that doctor opinion entirely. You will build stronger muscles but at the same time you will be burning fat. Chest area especially in case of gynecomastia has a lot of fat deposits therefore exercises would definitely help, however you won’t be able to eliminate that increased glandular breast tissue. I know that surgery carry some risk and it’s rather expensive but that’s probably the only way to eliminate your problem completely.

Hey man. At 15 years you definitely have pubertal kind of gynecomastia. I know it isn’t nice and you feel bad, but this thing in most cases is temporary. You are in a period of hormonal storm and your body is changing. Right diet and exercise is always recommended but you can’t do anything else at the moment. If you want some professional advice you should consult your doctor. Pubertal gyno is pretty common at your age, therefore doctors are prepared to deal with it.

Hi Avikumar.
To cheer you up I tell you that this is good news that you have no gynecomastia but just fat deposits in your chest. It will be much esier to get rid of them. Lifestyle changes like diet and exercise plus some fat burner and you should get rid of your chest fat. I would go with Gynectrol in your case as it’s very effective in burning chest fat.

hi Matt
I have this problem since I was 19,now I am 24.I consult my doctor and he gave me a leaf of tablets named monamox -500.But those tablets works for sometimes. Now he said to do surgery. But I waana solve this problem without surgery.. What can I do….?

Reply

Matt October 4, 2016 at 12:00 pm

Hi Ronte,
I have no experience with Monamox so can’t comment on it. If doctor suggest you surgery maybe you should consider this. If you want to try something else, you must have a holistic approach and change your diet to one that helps burn fat, start exercising amd then you can add pill like Gynexin or Gynexol cream to amplify results. In my opinion in most cases pills or creams won’t be effective if not used together with proper diet and exercises.

Hi Rajesh.
If you are already exercising and your diet is good, you probably need a medical help. Go to your doctor to consult your problem. I don’t know how your breast look like and cannot diagnose you. You may need surgery if the breast is seriously overgrown, but pills like Gynexin can help to some degree too.

Hey,
You are 15, so you have pubertal gynecomastia. It’s temporary and it will disappear. Don’t do any treatments cause you are to young, and it will be unnecessary. What you can do is to take a look at your diet and phisical activity. Eat healthy and exercise and your problem will disapper soon.

I really can’t tell you what medications you should use. However from what you said I conclude that you have more than just fat on your chest. In this case I would go with Gynexin pill. If I’m wrong and you have just fat deposits then use Gynexol cream or Gynectrol pills, whatever is more convinient for you.

Reply

Matt October 20, 2016 at 8:28 am

Hi Inconiti.
You said that when you workout your gyno gets bigger, that’s mean it’s not necessarily just fat because fat would burn during workouts. You can have overgrown glandular tissue which is sign of gynecomastia. I’m not able to tell you what to do just from your short note. Try to consult with another doctor and tell him/her that you are working out but it makes your breasts bigger. You can also try Gynexin as is more effective for shrinking glandure tissue thn other pills that mainly burn chest fat.

Hi Rahul. I don’t know what kind of man boobs you have. You must consult your condition with a professional. Doctor will be able to tell if you have gynecomastia or just fat deposit on your chest (pseudogynecomastia). The treatment is different for each of these conditions. For severe gynecomastia surgery might be necessary, for milder one you can use Gynexin pills together with the right diet. If you have pseudogynecomastia, exercises can help you and you can also use Gynexol cream or Gynectrol pills. As I said before the most important is the right diagnosis, to know what treatment would be the best for you.

Sorry to hear that you have this problem for so long. Both Gynexin and Gynexol cream can help you. When you use them together with a proper diet and exercises you have big chances of geting rid of your man boobs. However I am not bale to give you a medical advice as I can’t diagnose you. In some gynecomastia cases, only surgery is able to remove an overgrown breast tissue.

Hi Shamin. It looks like you have pseudogynecomastia. There are few ways to reduce your fat deposits in breast area. You can try exercises for man boobs and also you can use cream or pills that can help speed up the process.
In some cases of heavily overgrown breasts only gyno surgery can completely remove them.

1. No, masturbation do not increase man boobs.
2. Both pills and cream for gynecomastia are delivered worldwide and definitely can be shipped to India. I can’t tell the delivery time. Mine were delivered in 3 days but I live in the US.
3. I’m not sure what you mean but healthy lifestyle is advised.
4. Man boobs in some cases can come back. If you have hormonal imbalance or your breast fat grow again that’s can cause your man boobs appear too.
5. No, as I’m not a doctor.
All the best.

Hello sir,

I have had this thing since I was a chubby child at 14 years of age. I was sick of it so my friends and I trained hard in running weight lifting all throughout high school. The darn things wouldn’t go away. I was eating whatever I wanted to back then and I was overall slim everywhere except my chest.

High school was over I joined the military hoping to lose them in there. Well fast forward to now I’m 29 and I have pushed up. Squated bench pressed ran went on a Caloric deficit, taken natural vitamin supplements, ate fruits and vegetables and even stayed away from meat for awhile… and have done everything absolutely possible to get rid of the man boobs naturally and they are still there. there has gotta be something I’m missing. I’m really not into taking a pill or some drug to get me to lose them. What are your suggestions?

Matt December 16, 2016 at 3:46 pm

Hi. Man you have done really good job trying to get rid of them. Have you consulted your problem with any doctor? I’m not able to say what exactly you have as I can’t see you. It could be possible that only gyno surgery will be able to help you remove them for good. Do a reasearch at your town and you should find a place where it can be done. It could be pricey but in some cases is the only option.

Hi Venky. So, your pubertal gynecomastia has diminished buy you still have some symptoms. In your case, I would definitely consult a doctor to check what exactly is left. You must be sure that nothing malignant is growing there. After your check, you can use some alternative treatment if you wish, like cream or pills. Obviously, exercises and a healthy diet could also help.

Hi Karl. I’m really happy for you that you made it through cancer. As you put on weight it’s natural that your fat deposits on your chest became bigger too. Also, the medications probably messed up your hormones. Definitely, a healthy diet and regular exercises would be helpful. I recommend you to consult your condition with a doctor to establish if you have just fat on your chest (pseudo gynecomastia) or some hormonal changes in your breast tissue (gynecomastia). As there are different medicines for both conditions you will be better off knowing what exactly you have.

It is quite common that one breast is getting bigger that the other one. It could be the case of unilateral gynecomastia. The treatment is still more or less the same as for normal gynecomastia. Definitely, you should consult your problem with the doctor.

Hi Al. Glandular Gynecomastia sometimes referred to as ‘puffy nipples’is the form of gynecomastia that occurs quite commonly at puberty. Although, it may occur in young adults and older adults as well. There is no expansion of fatty tissue in the surrounding area. A comprehensive review of your health and medications is necessary to decide how to get rid of this condition. Check it with your doctor as he/she can advise you the most effective treatment.

You can try to book a consultation with an endocrinologist as this is a doctor who specializes in treating hormonal imbalances.
However, you should be fine visiting your regular doctor who can do a check and if necessary send you to a correct specialist.
