Judy Murray puts Scottish home on the market for £825,000

Judy Murray, 57, has put her luxury mansion in Bridge of Allan, Stirlingshire, on the market for offers over £825,000. The sprawling property (top left) boasts a spacious country style kitchen (top right), airy reception rooms (centre) and a master bedroom flooded with natural light (bottom right). Mrs Murray (inset), bought the house five years ago and has since redecorated and renovated the bathrooms (bottom left). The mother-of-two said 'family logistics' played a part in her decision but that she couldn't imagine leaving Scotland to be in England with sons, Sir Andy, 29, and Jamie, 30.

Britain is braced for the coldest night of the year

The freezing cold conditions (inset) which have dominated the week will continue over the weekend and bring up to four inches of snow. Forecasters have issued severe warnings for ice for eastern regions of England and Scotland as daytime temperatures struggle to pass 0C. Air from Scandinavia is pushing through and bringing with it snow, sleet and the biting cold. The wind chill will make it feel -20C in northern Scotland tonight. Met Office meteorologist Emma Salter said Aberdeenshire, Northumberland, Durham, Lincolnshire and East Anglia would be worst affected by the conditions. Screaming in pain in front of a cheering crowd before collapsing in agony, a woman is lashed with a cane in rare footage of Indonesia's brutal Sharia law punishment

A video has emerged of a woman being lashed in public with a cane in footage showing Indonesia's brutal Sharia law punishment, which is filmed by dozens of civilians gathered to watch. A masked man, whose identity is kept completely hidden, plays to the crowd by wiggling the cane provocatively near the woman's back. He then draws it back and unleashes it across her shoulder blades for an unknown alleged crime. The woman, wearing a white shirt and a salmon-coloured headscarf, winces in pain with every blow. Between each savage lashing, she reaches back with her hand to try and relieve the agony. When the man delivers the fifth blow, she collapses in a heap on the stage, to the sound of applause.

Tara Palmer-Tomkinson was found dead by her cleaner

Tara Palmer-Tomkinson's sister Santa Montefiore (bottom inset) has posted a 'heartbreaking' tribute to her sibling on Twitter today, writing 'My darling sister, I miss you' (left). It comes amid claims she was 'still using cocaine' and in contact with a dealer as recently as last year. The socialite's body was discovered at her luxury west London apartment by her cleaner, as a close friend revealed that she had relapsed into 'a dark place' in the weeks before her death. Builders said they heard a 'loud bang' coming from the apartment last Friday and had not seen Tara (right) since, but this afternoon the barman at her local pub, The Bottlery (top inset), confirmed he saw her on Saturday with her new mystery boyfriend, who has been described as 'difficult'.

Julia Stephenson (pictured), like Tara Palmer-Tomkinson, was caught up in the whirl of life as an It-girl. If there were a league table, she was Woking FC to Tara's Manchester United.

Trump says he'll appeal court ruling not to reinstate ban

In a unanimous decision, three judges, including Judge Richard Clifton (top left) and Judge William Canby (bottom left), from the San Francisco-based 9th US Circuit Court of Appeals ruled not to reinstate President Donald Trump's travel ban. The president lashed out on Twitter, saying: 'SEE YOU IN COURT, THE SECURITY OF OUR NATION IS AT STAKE!' The ruling came after a lower-court ruling suspended the ban that temporarily suspended the nation's refugee program and immigration from countries that have raised terrorism concerns. US District Judge James Robart in Seattle issued a temporary restraining order halting the ban last week after Washington state and Minnesota sued following Trump's announcement of the order. Now, an appeal to the US Supreme Court seems likely. It would put the decision in the hands of a divided court that has a vacancy. Trump's nominee, Neil Gorsuch, could not be confirmed in time to take part in any consideration of the ban. Meanwhile, the president's defeated election rival, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, tweeted '3-0,' noting the appeal court judges' unanimous call.

Chris Moyles showcases 5 stone weight loss in London

At his heaviest, he was five stone overweight. But Chris Moyles (pictured before, left) has shed that excess bulk over the last few years; and he proved that he's kept the weight off when he stepped out to join Jamie Oliver at the opening of his new restaurant on Thursday night. The breakfast DJ struck a rather defiant pose with pal Jamie outside Piccadilly-based Barbecoa on Wednesday evening, and looked positively unrecognisable compared to his former self. The 42-year-old (right, with Jamie Oliver) wore a white T-shirt, a navy blue blazer and black skinny jeans, along with casual converse trainers in black and white.

Fifty Shades Darker review by Brian Viner

While she pretended everything was normal, Miss Farbrother started writing a haunting 'death book' - a scrap book filled with pictures of Reece and Mr Lines, letters, poems about depression, a list of her final wishes and details about her own funeral (pictured right). Although she knew Miss Farbrother was devastated, her mother Tracey, 46, had no idea how much her daughter was struggling. Mothers who cuddled, bathed and dressed stillborn babies

Thanks to changing attitudes to child bereavement, as well as the CuddleCot - which contains an electric cooling system attached to a mat to keep the body temperature low - mothers are taking their babies home to care for them in the days before their funerals. A tenant living in a luxury apartment complex in Brooklyn that is partially owned by President Donald Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner (seen with Trump in the top right photo) uploaded a video to the internet showing a mouse scurrying across a baby's crib (left). The video illustrates what tenants at the 184 Kent Avenue (bottom right) property in trendy Williamsburg, Brooklyn, say is one of a number of recurring problems. The tenant said that the building has been plagued by rodent infestations, sudden shutoffs of heat and hot water, and doors to the outside being left open.

James Kingston, from Southampton, completed the stunt on a construction site in Al Barari, Dubai. He films himself on his GoPro making his way across a narrow white pole without any safety equipment.

A daredevil mountain-biker has reached the amazing speed of 104mph while cycling down a hill in the Chilean desert. Markus Stöckl (pictured), 42, broke his own world record in the speedy stunt.

Vintage Valentine's cards with modern gags

Wonderfully witty and mischievous, these are just some of the thousands of greeting cards created by British artist Cath Tate in a 30-year career. In her latest collection, Love Makes The World Stand Still (Portico Books, £7.99), she takes a bittersweet - and often hilarious - look at love, courtship and marriage. Pairing snaps found in junk shops and antique fairs with her wry captions, the book is out just in time for Valentine's Day.
