A 30-stone man has revealed he eats two eggs salad and salad cream rolls, pot noodle on toast, two toasted pâté sandwiches and meatballs with three pieces of bread and butter just for breakfast.

Jonathan, 30, is 'eating himself to death,' according to his mother Sue who broke down in tears on ITV's Jeremy Kyle show today.

Sue also revealed she had spent nearly £15,000 from her retirement savings and disability allowance on a personal trainer to help her son, who has a four-year-old son, lose weight.

Sue said on the show: 'I'm watching him lose his life day by day and I can't help him any more.

'When I go to my grave I shouldn't see him buried first.'

Jonathan, who is divorced, said: 'The only way I could find to keep myself going was to eat.'

His mother added: 'It started when he went to secondary school because he was a biggish lad he was bullied - he was the unacceptable one.

She said: 'He's such a nice guy but he gets used by women he meets online - that knocks his confidence.'  

It was not revealed where the family are based in the UK.  

Some viewers questioned why Sue was concerned with her son's heaviness especially when she was challenged on the show for her own weight.

She said: 'I do blame myself but I had an accident and couldn't move anymore.'

Jonathan was sent to a 12-week residential boot camp, where he will be taught to change his mindset on food and exercise.
