Kate Bosworth and Malin Akerman compete to flash the most flesh in racy black gowns at magazine party

It was a party thrown to celebrate James Corden covering Esquire magazine.

But Kate Bosworth, 34, and Malin Akerman, 38, ended up stealing the spotlight on the night at Los Angeles' Sunset Tower Hotel in Wednesday.

Both opting for plunging black gowns, the blonde beauties had all eyes on them as they posed for snaps.

Showing off her phenomenal figure, Kate opted for a black midi dress with a risque cut out panel below the chest.

Cinching in at her slender waist, the garment flared out to mid calf length, offering a look at her patent court heels. 

Giving her little black dress a quirky twist, the skirt was adorned with a strip of pearls which complemented the embellishment on her satin clutch bag.

Highlighting her flawless features further she slicked her golden locks into a chic chignon bun. 

Kate finished off the look with a glittering diamond cuff that matched her chandelier earrings.

Malin looked equally as glamorous on the night, turning heads in her plunging sequinned gown. 

Featuring a dramatic deep V-neckline, the garment offered a look at her cleavage, whilst a thigh high split showed off her enviably lean legs. 

Wearing her honey hued locks in a wet look style, she added to the glamour with a myriad of glittering rings and an eye-catching necklace. 

The transformation was a speedy one, as she had been seen earlier in the day looking chic yet casual in a chunky grey jumper and flared jeans.
