Broadchurch's Phoebe Waller-Bridge is worlds away from prim barrister Abby as she unleashes her inner-dominatrix in racy sex scenes for BBC comedy

Fans of Broachurch the world over will remember her playing the primp and proper lawyer Abby Thompson, who represents Joe Miller in court.

But an earlier, and VERY different role, saw Phoebe Waller-Bridge unleashing her inner-dominatrix in some very racy scenes.

The 31-year-old actress starred in an episode of BBC comedy How Not To Live Your Life in 2010, and played a bondage and S&M loving posh girl, who dated lead character, Don.

The episode, titled Don's Posh Weekend, saw her take on the role of a boundary-crossing beauty who begins dating Don Danburry (Dan Clark).

The hapless hero finds himself yelping and squealing as he beds Felicity, only for her to push his bedroom boundaries by using a candle as a sexual aid whilst she also introduces him to water sports.

During a weekend away at her parent's lavish country pile, Don gets more than he bargained for as she treats him to a kinky sex session in her childhood bedroom.

Getting out the whips and chains -quite literally - Felicity (played by Phoebe) strips down to a racy black corset and lingerie as she gags a leather-clad Don.

Despite Don's protests about engaging in the racy romp, as her father has shown a clear dislike to him, Felicity gets her own way - and chaos ensues.

The kinky character is worlds away from the role Phoebe landed in the second series of ITV's Broadchurch.

Cast as Joe Miller's barrister in the tense and nerve-shredding police drama, Abby Thompson is left shocked when her client changes his plea to not guilty without her knowing.

Playing a pivotal role in Joe's aquittal fans saw the ambitious Barrister gather information for her boss by sleeping with a local reporter, before making her own fair share of enemies in the courtroom as they pair got Joe off the hook.

While Abby may have used her relationship with the Broadchurch Echo's Oliver Stevens to her advantage, she was never one given to embracing the wilder side of life.

In more recent news, Variety reported on Thursday that Phoebe is now in talks to take on a ' key role' in the up-coming Star Wars Story flick based around Han Solo.

The website claims the role would be 'a CGI-driven performance from Waller-Bridge but would still be a significant part of the ensemble'.
