Yesterday Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peak bodies delivered the ‘Redfern Statement’ to the Prime Minister at Parliament House. The historic Statement calls for changes that address housing, health, education, justice, disability and representation for Aboriginal people. As a community we are calling on the Prime Minister to support the roadmap that addresses the gap between Australia’s First Peoples and non-Indigenous Australians.
