Minogue was a presenter at the 1993 Brit Awards and announced Prince as the winner of Best International Solo Artist, but at the last minute, the show's producers ultimately asked Cher to read his speech.

'He was an extremely smart, articulate man with a very, very quick wit. He was driven by his creativity - there was always the next record, the next video, the next tour - it was 24/7,' said Stoulil in a statement posted on the auction houses web site.
