Kanye West hits the gym for a solo session after enjoying a date night and ice cream with wife Kim Kardashian

Kanye West remains determined to focus on his recovery. 

The 39-year-old rapper, who suffered a mental breakdown late last year, has been hitting the gym hard since he was released from the hospital in November. 

 The Life of Pablo artist continued with his routine as he was spotted leaving a gym in Encino, California on Tuesday wearing workout gear.

The father of two remained casual in a graphic t-shirt paired with a pair of black and orange joggers. 

He wore a black hoodie as temperatures in Los Angeles remain cool into February. 

 With his hair back to its natural color after he died it blonde following his breakdown, Kanye completed his workout look with white trainers, which he failed to lace up. 

Kanye workout routine isn't new and the rapper is said to be benefiting from working out 'five or six times a week' during his recovery.

Following the confirmation that his marriage to Kim Kardashian was safe, it's been alleged that the rapper is using fitness to help him sleep and clarify his thoughts. 

TMZ reports that Kanye has been alternating his workouts between his home gym and local fitness center.

After all, Kanye has more time on his hands now that he thought he would after cancelling the 21 remaining concerts on his Saint Pablo Tour in November.

The rap artist was taken to UCLA Medical Center for psychiatric evaluation on November 21, for his own safety, sources claimed.

 Kanye was due to work up until New Year's Eve in Brooklyn, though as he recovers from what is being called a 'psychotic breakdown' the musician has reportedly been '"very present" with Kim and their two children Saint and North.'

Now though, Kanye is said to be using his training sessions to help workout his frustrations.

And all seems well on the marriage front too as the rapper was seen leaving an early Valentine's Day dinner with wife, Kim. 

The famous duo had a romantic date night at an Italian eatery after stopping off at celebrity hot spot Epione.

After dinner the pair then indulged at the iconic Baskin-Robbins for an after dinner treat.
