Alison Levitt QC, principal legal adviser to the Director of Public Prosecutions, announced the decision at 10am, that the former editor of the News of the World and the Sun will to be charged with five others, including her husband Charlie Brooks.
The four others to be charged are Mrs Brooks's former PA Cheryl Carter, the company's head of security Mark Hanna, News International chauffeur Paul Edwards and security consultant Daryl Jorsling.
The charges include conspiring to conceal material from Scotland Yard detectives, conspiring to remove seven boxes of material from the archive of News International and conspiring to conceal documents, computers and other electronic equipment from detectives.
Ms Levitt said: "Applying the two-stage test in the Code for Crown Prosecutors I have concluded that in relation to all suspects except the seventh, there is sufficient evidence for there to be a realistic prospect of conviction.
"I then considered the second stage of the test, and I have concluded that a prosecution is required in the public interest in relation to each of the other six.

Man ønsker seg pliktoppfyllende arbeidere,
som genererer penger i forbrukersamfunns-
modellen...men som dermed via bl.a det enorme
trykket på akademiske fag kobler folk vekk fra
medmenneskelighet og hjertebevissthet.

I encountered a lot of snow over the course of my six weeks in the Czech Republic. Whether I was riding the train, hiking through the hills, or walking around the city, I always had my camera on me. Perverting the course of justice is a criminal offence in England and Wales. The offence is committed when a person prevents justice from being served on him/herself or on another party. It is a common law offence, carrying a maximum sentence of life imprisonment.

Rebekah Brooks
Rebekah Mary Brooks (née Wade; born 27 May 1968) is an English journalist and former newspaper editor. She was chief executive officer of News International from 2009 to 2011, having previously served as the youngest editor of a British national newspaper at News of the World from 2000 to 2003, and the first female editor of The Sun from 2003 to 2009. In September 2015, Brooks was confirmed as CEO of News UK, Rupert Murdoch's UK division of his News Corp empire, re-establishing their working relationship together. Brooks married actor Ross Kemp in 2002. They divorced in 2009 and she married former racehorse trainer and author Charlie Brooks.
Brooks was a prominent figure in the News International phone hacking scandal, having been the editor of the News of the World when illegal phone hacking was carried out by the newspaper. Following a criminal trial in 2014 she was cleared of all charges by a jury at the Old Bailey, which accepted her defence of incompetence: that she had no knowledge of the illegal acts carried out by the newspaper she edited.

The Course
The Course were a dance music act from the United Kingdom and the Netherlands. It consisted of DJ/producer Vincent Hendriks and vocalists Dewi Lopulalan and Irma Derby. They achieved their biggest commercial success in 1997.
Hendriks and Lopulalan first met in 1990 at a DJ "mix championship" in the Netherlands. They met again in 1996, at the same venue, and the two decided to collaborate on some music.
The group released their first single, "Ready or Not", a dance cover of the 1996 song by The Fugees, in early 1997, with echoes of other contemporary hits Ultra Flava by Farley & Heller and Hold That Sucker Down by The OT Quartet. It reached #5 in the UK Singles Chart in April, giving the band their first hit. The follow-up, a cover of Chaka Khan and Rufus' "Ain't Nobody" also fared well, reaching #8 in July. However, their third single, "Best Love", only made it to #51 in December. Subsequent singles failed to see chart action, proving The Course to be a "two-hit wonder". They broke up in the late 1990s because of the lack of commercial success after the first two singles.

Coronation Street
Coronation Street (informally known as Corrie) is a British soap opera created by Granada Television and shown on ITV since 9 December 1960. The programme centres on Coronation Street in Weatherfield, a fictional town based on Salford, its terraced houses, café, corner shop, newsagents, textile factory and The Rovers Return pub. The fictional street was built in the early 1900s and named in honour of the coronation of King Edward VII.
The programme was conceived in 1960 by scriptwriter Tony Warren at Granada Television in Manchester. Warren's initial kitchen sink drama proposal was rejected by the station's founder Sidney Bernstein, but he was persuaded by producer Harry Elton to produce the programme for thirteen pilot episodes. Police Report
Police Report is a weekend RTHK programme in Hong Kong, similar to Crimewatch in the UK or America's Most Wanted in the United States. It is broadcast in English and Cantonese versions (broadcast as Police Magazine, subtitled), and each episode differ only in broadcast language and cast. Each episode is only five minutes long, and is televised on TVB Pearl on Saturdays and ATV World on Sundays, following their evening newscasts.
Hosts
Generally, the current presenter for the English version is John Cameron, Superintendent of the Hong Kong Police Force. In certain episodes, other hosts includes Senior Inspector Ricky Cheung, Superintendent Bradley Wright, Senior Inspector Adrianna Chan, and Chief Inspector Mark Anstress.
Episode Format
It reports on unresolved crimes (often involving crime scene reconstruction), traffic accidents, missing people, etc. appealing to the public for information, as well as introducing the latest police events, gadgets, aspects and responsibilities of different groups in the Police Force, and educating the public, e.g. how to be alert about fraudsters and, very often, how to use the emergency hotline, 999, responsibly, although the reconstructions are in Cantonese with English subtitles used in Police Magazine.

This is a thrown together piece of footage I took with Canon's new 1Dmk4 which I had the chance to have a play with for a few days thanks to Ben Walton from Team Digital in Perth Western Australia. I was off on True North again to capture some highlights of their Sydney Rocks cruise for New Years. I packed the 5Dmk2 and of course the Brand Spanking New 1Dmk4. The pressure was on on two levels. One to shoot some nice footage for the owners of True North and Two to do justice to Canon's new super camera. Unfortunately no one told the weather to play ball and it was a dull grey dreary few days in Sydney. Of course this is great for even light but if your trying to sell beds on boats blue sky wins out everytime. I alternated between the two camera's so I have more footage from this trip but I wanted to show only 1D footage in this edit. I couldn't really distinguish between the footage of the two cameras but noticed that the 1Dmk4 footage looked a little softer than the 5D. Maybe it was due to a smaller sensor and shooting 24p. Don't really know but it made me want to favor the 5D more. The low light capabilities seemed no better than the 5D and as soon as I see noise in my footage I tend not to push the ISO anymore. At around 400 ISO on both cameras the noise to me became unacceptable but a proper test with both cameras in a studio set up would tell the story better. Would I buy a 1Dmk4 over a 5Dmk2 if it was just to shoot video? Probably not. This was not a true opportunity to test the camera as I had a job to do and stuffing around was not an option. I'll get another chance with this camera in the next few days so maybe I'll set up some better tests. Enjoy this for what it is. It's not my best work but at least those of you who are looking at this camera may have a better informed decision if considering buying one. 28mm wide angle lens test
I took half of this one down by the river in Perth, Western Australia, and the other at a local park in Northbridge. The morning was so still, and the sky so perfectly blue that the colours just seemed to pop. It's just hitting winter here and hence everything is changing colour and crisping up making for some lovely shooting conditions. The footage isn't that unique or particularly exciting, but the image quality just floors me. To think that this is a AU$1200 camcorder using 'old' miniDV technology. With my DOF adapter kit now pretty much complete (shrigg rig arrives this week) this is my first video that I think finally does justice just how amazing the HV30 can be when used with a DOF adapter, great lens and a m*therf*cking brilliant tripod. Last week I bought a wide angle 28mm f2....

"I then considered the second stage of the test, and I have concluded that a prosecution is required in the public interest in relation to each of the other six.

Man ønsker seg pliktoppfyllende arbeidere,
som genererer penger i forbrukersamfunns-
modellen...men som dermed via bl.a det enorme

I encountered a lot of snow over the course of my six weeks in the Czech Republic. Whether I was riding the train, hiking through the hills, or walking around the city, I always had my camera on me. This video does not do justice in showing you everything that I saw and encountered during my time in Czech. However, I hope that it gives you a taste of what I walked into everyday. Enjoy.

This is a thrown together piece of footage I took with Canon's new 1Dmk4 which I had the chance to have a play with for a few days thanks to Ben Walton from Team Digital in Perth Western Australia.
I was off on True North again to capture some highlights of their Sydney Rocks cruise for New Years. I packed the 5Dmk2 and of course the Brand Spanking New 1Dmk4.
The pressure was on on two levels. One to shoot some nice footage for the owners of True North and Two to do justice to Canon's new super camera. Unfortunately no one told the weather to play ball and it was a dull grey dreary few days in Sydney.
Of course this is great for even light but if your trying to sell beds on boats blue sky wins out everytime. I alternated between the two camera's so I have more footage from this trip but I wanted to show only 1D footage in this edit.
I couldn't really distinguish between the footage of
the two cameras but noticed that the 1Dmk4 footage looked a little softer than the 5D. Maybe it was due to a smaller sensor and shooting 24p. Don't really know but it made me want to favor the 5D more.
The low light capabilities seemed no better than the 5D and as soon as I see noise in my footage I tend not to push the ISO anymore. At around 400 ISO on both cameras the noise to me became unacceptable but a proper test with both cameras in a studio set up would tell the story better.
Would I buy a 1Dmk4 over a 5Dmk2 if it was just to shoot video? Probably not. This was not a true opportunity to test the camera as I had a job to do and stuffing around was not an option. I'll get another chance with this camera in the next few days so maybe I'll set up some better tests.
Enjoy this for what it is. It's not my best work but at least those of you who are looking at this camera may have a better informed decision if considering buying one.

I combined footage from 6 different clips that each had their atmosphere, colors and lighting. I did my best to tweak the material in a uniform blend. There are just 2 girls in this video, although you might think that there are more. Btw.. Yes I know… there´s a tiny ´beaver shot´ of Ali Rose in the video. I left it in there for all you perverts out there ;-)

About two months ago I started to work on another track that was originally intended to be the soundtrack for this video. But when I finished the song, it just wasn’t right for this type of video.

So I started from scratch to find a song that would better fit this video, when I stumbled on this soundtrack. This tune was inspired by a song that resurfaced from a backup CD from the year 1999 that I found back amongst my closed full of shit. The original song was called “Blood War” by Jess D Skov-Nielsen from Denmark (also known as Ramzo). He composed the song to enter the Creative (Labs) Open MIDI Contest which he won with this track. I found out on archive.org that he entered the track into the completion with as comment: ”This tune is inspired from the AD&D; world ‘Planescape’ where there is an eternal battle between hundreds of demons and devils of hell called ‘The Bloodwar’.” The music competition was organized by Creative Labs to promote their ‘Sound Blaster AWE64 Gold card’ audio card. Back in the previous century, this was an amazing piece of hardware for anyone wanting to get into electronic composition of music. When I got my hands on my own ‘Sound Blaster AWE64’ back in 1999, it really kicked my music into gear. With the soundcard came a CDROM with drivers and also some demonstration MIDI files. One of these tracks was “Blood War”. You can download my version of the song from:

I took half of this one down by the river in Perth, Western Australia, and the other at a local park in Northbridge. The morning was so still, and the sky so perfectly blue that the colours just seemed to pop. It's just hitting winter here and hence everything is changing colour and crisping up making for some lovely shooting conditions.
The footage isn't that unique or particularly exciting, but the image quality just floors me. To think that this is a AU$1200 camcorder using 'old' miniDV technology.
With my DOF adapter kit now pretty much complete (shrigg rig arrives this week) this is my first video that I think finally does justice just how amazing the HV30 can be when used with a DOF adapter, great lens and a m*therf*cking brilliant tripod.
Last week I bought a wide angle 28mm f2.8 AIS Nikkor lens (thanks Matt for the suggestion) and hence I thought it only right to give it a go with my new tripod: a Manfrotto 701HDV head with 755XB legs. OH MY GOD it's good to have completely shake free footage for once.
I'm using a twoneil plus (ie with an achromat) which I wholeheartedly recommend. The achromat really seems to clean up the edges of the picture, no warping, very little vignetting, and overall a much sharper picture.
Just for the hey I took the camera out of 25fps and didn't use cinemode for once. Instead I used the standard HDV50i and shutter priority set at 125. I actually think the result is a much crisper and vibrant image. Of course it's not quite as soft and "movie" like.

It's also about the travel itself, knowing new spots, even if it's a very short visit, you know you're gonna be back. And it's, of course, about the people you meet. We had the chance to climb and hang up with very nice people, making the trip even cozier!

1Dmk4 Footage From Sydney New Years Eve 2009
This is a thrown together piece of footage I took with Canon's new 1Dmk4 which I had the chance to have a play with for a few days thanks to Ben Walton from Team Digital in Perth Western Australia. I was off on True North again to capture some highlights of their Sydney Rocks cruise for New Years. I packed the 5Dmk2 and of course the Brand Spanking New 1Dmk4. The pressure was on on two levels. One to shoot some nice footage for the owners of True North and Two to do justice to Canon's new super camera. Unfortunately no one told the weather to play ball and it was a dull grey dreary few days in Sydney. "I then considered the second stage of the test, and I have concluded that a prosecution is required in the public interest in relation to each of the other six.

This is a thrown together piece of footage I took with Canon's new 1Dmk4 which I had the chance to have a play with for a few days thanks to Ben Walton from Team Digital in Perth Western Australia.
I was off on True North again to capture some highlights of their Sydney Rocks cruise for New Years. I packed the 5Dmk2 and of course the Brand Spanking New 1Dmk4.
The pressure was on on two levels. One to shoot some nice footage for the owners of True North and Two to do justice to Canon's new super camera. Unfortunately no one told the weather to play ball and it was a dull grey dreary few days in Sydney.
Of course this is great for even light but if your trying to sell beds on boats blue sky wins out everytime. I alternated between the two camera's so I have more footage from this trip but I wanted to show only 1D footage in this edit.
I couldn't really distinguish between the footage of
the two cameras but noticed that the 1Dmk4 footage looked a little softer than the 5D. Maybe it was due to a smaller sensor and shooting 24p. Don't really know but it made me want to favor the 5D more.
The low light capabilities seemed no better than the 5D and as soon as I see noise in my footage I tend not to push the ISO anymore. At around 400 ISO on both cameras the noise to me became unacceptable but a proper test with both cameras in a studio set up would tell the story better.
Would I buy a 1Dmk4 over a 5Dmk2 if it was just to shoot video? Probably not. This was not a true opportunity to test the camera as I had a job to do and stuffing around was not an option. I'll get another chance with this camera in the next few days so maybe I'll set up some better tests.
Enjoy this for what it is. It's not my best work but at least those of you who are looking at this camera may have a better informed decision if considering buying one.

I combined footage from 6 different clips that each had their atmosphere, colors and lighting. I did my best to tweak the material in a uniform blend. There are just 2 girls in this video, although you might think that there are more. Btw.. Yes I know… there´s a tiny ´beaver shot´ of Ali Rose in the video. I left it in there for all you perverts out there ;-)

About two months ago I started to work on another track that was originally intended to be the soundtrack for this video. But when I finished the song, it just wasn’t right for this type of video.

So I started from scratch to find a song that would better fit this video, when I stumbled on this soundtrack. This tune was inspired by a song that resurfaced from a backup CD from the year 1999 that I found back amongst my closed full of shit. The original song was called “Blood War” by Jess D Skov-Nielsen from Denmark (also known as Ramzo). He composed the song to enter the Creative (Labs) Open MIDI Contest which he won with this track. I found out on archive.org that he entered the track into the completion with as comment: ”This tune is inspired from the AD&D; world ‘Planescape’ where there is an eternal battle between hundreds of demons and devils of hell called ‘The Bloodwar’.” The music competition was organized by Creative Labs to promote their ‘Sound Blaster AWE64 Gold card’ audio card. Back in the previous century, this was an amazing piece of hardware for anyone wanting to get into electronic composition of music. When I got my hands on my own ‘Sound Blaster AWE64’ back in 1999, it really kicked my music into gear. With the soundcard came a CDROM with drivers and also some demonstration MIDI files. I combined footage from 6 different clips that each had their atmosphere, colors and lighting. I did my best to tweak the material in a uniform blend. There are just 2 girls in this video, although you might think that there are more. Btw.. Yes I know… there´s a tiny ´beaver shot´ of Ali Rose in the video. I left it in there for all you perverts out there ;-)

About two months ago I started to work on another track that was originally intended to be the soundtrack for this video. But when I finished the song, it just wasn’t right for this type of video.

So I started from scratch to find a song that would better fit this video, when I stumbled on this soundtrack. This tune was inspired by a song that resurfaced from a backup CD from the year 1999 that I found back amongst my closed full of shit. The original song was called “Blood War” by Jess D Skov-Nielsen from Denmark (also known as Ramzo). He composed the song to enter the Creative (Labs) Open MIDI Contest which he won with this track. I found out on archive.org that he entered the track into the completion with as comment: ”This tune is inspired from the AD&D; world ‘Planescape’ where there is an eternal battle between hundreds of demons and devils of hell called ‘The Bloodwar’.” The music competition was organized by Creative Labs to promote their ‘Sound Blaster AWE64 Gold card’ audio card. Back in the previous century, this was an amazing piece of hardware for anyone wanting to get into electronic composition of music. When I got my hands on my own ‘Sound Blaster AWE64’ back in 1999, it really kicked my music into gear. With the soundcard came a CDROM with drivers and also some demonstration MIDI files. One of these tracks was “Blood War”. You can download my version of the song from:

I took half of this one down by the river in Perth, Western Australia, and the other at a local park in Northbridge. The morning was so still, and the sky so perfectly blue that the colours just seemed to pop. It's just hitting winter here and hence everything is changing colour and crisping up making for some lovely shooting conditions.
The footage isn't that unique or particularly exciting, but the image quality just floors me. To think that this is a AU$1200 camcorder using 'old' miniDV technology.
With my DOF adapter kit now pretty much complete (shrigg rig arrives this week) this is my first video that I think finally does justice just how amazing the HV30 can be when used with a DOF adapter, great lens and a m*therf*cking brilliant tripod.
Last week I bought a wide angle 28mm f2.8 AIS Nikkor lens (thanks Matt for the suggestion) and hence I thought it only right to give it a go with my new tripod: a Manfrotto 701HDV head with 755XB legs. OH MY GOD it's good to have completely shake free footage for once.
I'm using a twoneil plus (ie with an achromat) which I wholeheartedly recommend. The achromat really seems to clean up the edges of the picture, no warping, very little vignetting, and overall a much sharper picture.
Just for the hey I took the camera out of 25fps and didn't use cinemode for once. Instead I used the standard HDV50i and shutter priority set at 125. I actually think the result is a much crisper and vibrant image. Of course it's not quite as soft and "movie" like.

It's also about the travel itself, knowing new spots, even if it's a very short visit, you know you're gonna be back. And it's, of course, about the people you meet. We had the chance to climb and hang up with very nice people, making the trip even cozier!
