Scale of justice 2.svg Hello, Anotheronewiki. Maybe You've Been Brainwashed Too[edit]

Now listen, you're doing a good job at attempting to address those comments, but when that article gets reviewed, they're not going to like that you have citations in the lead rather than those details cited somewhere in the body. Just an observation. dannymusiceditor Speak up! 23:41, 4 January 2017 (UTC)

Thanks for the observation! This is my first GA nomination, so I'm anxious to have it work out.Anotheronewiki (talk) 00:28, 10 January 2017 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Feel Your Feelings Fool![edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Feel Your Feelings Fool! requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a musical recording which does not indicate why its subject is important or significant, and where the artist's article has never existed, has been deleted or is eligible for deletion itself. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for music.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. "I'm a Tree" redirect[edit]

Hello,

I noticed that you turned "I'm a Tree" from an article into a redirect. Was it because it lacked notability? I knew it charted in Australia (barely), and I assumed that made it notable enough. (Forgive me; I'm still sort of new to this kind of thing). Thanks! -Anotheronewiki (talk) 12:09, 5 February 2017 (UTC)

Generally, unless it's a really big deal, we tend to not do articles on every single song and every single album of every single performer. Better to do a good article about an album or performer than 10 stubs of mediocre quality. For guidelines WP:NMUSIC outlines the starting point. From there, "Notability aside, a standalone article is only appropriate when there is enough material to warrant a reasonably detailed article; articles unlikely ever to grow beyond stubs should be merged into the artist's article or discography." Thanks for the clarification! I think I understand now. -Anotheronewiki (talk) 12:17, 5 February 2017 (UTC)
