But Nicole Kidman has traded in her usual red carpet haute couture for runners and jeans at a Los Angeles event.

The 49-year-old actress cut a chic figure in the casual ensemble at the screening of her new television show Big Little Lies on Wednesday night.

Nicole appeared to take a leaf out her rocker husband Keith Urban's wardrobe, wearing a pair of black skinny jeans.

But the Lion actress went businesslike on top, wearing a striped blouse and black blazer which displayed just a hint of midriff.

She topped the outfit off with a a pair of worn-in Converse runners, keeping her hair and makeup simple.
