He's been caught up in an email hacking scandal that revealed he had branded the Honours Committee ‘unappreciative c***s’ for passing him over on a knighthood.

But David Beckham seemed to be brushing off the drama by squeezing in a workout as he hit the gym in London on Thursday.

Enjoying a post session shake, the former footballer, 41, kept a blank expression as he headed home with his headphones in.

The former Manchester United player has been continuing with his day to day activities since damaging correspondence between himself and PR chief Simon Oliveira were leaked.

In the leak, David reacted angrily when he found out he had been passed over for a knighthood.

The former England captain branded the Honours Committee ‘unappreciative c***s’ and dismissed lower awards, ranting: ‘Unless it’s a knighthood f*** off’.

He allegedly continued to rant at the honours committee, saying he 'expected nothing less' and asking 'who decides the honours?'

A spokesman for the star said: ‘This story is based on outdated material taken out of context from hacked and doctored private emails from a third party server and gives a deliberately inaccurate picture.’

In another email, David dismissed Oliveira's suggestion that he put one million dollars (£800,000) into a prize-giving Unicef dinner in Shanghai.

Beckham allegedly replied: 'I don't want to put my personal money into this cause,' claiming he added: 'To pour this million into the fund, is like putting my own money in.

'If there was no fund, the money would be for me. This f****** money is mine.'
