Lady Gaga covers up in cowgirl outfit in nod to her new John Wayne music video after hitting back at body shamers

She just released her country western-inspired music video for John Wayne.

And Lady Gaga is keeping with the theme of her latest release by wearing a country-inspired getup.

The 30-year-old songstress was spotted at Starbucks in Malibu on Wednesday in a black cowboy hat, red velvet boots and lots of tassels.

Gaga wore a zip-up red and beige coat with a paisley design emblazoned on it and old school country tassels along the top.

She paired the western top with simple black skinny pants, but brought the theme right back with high-heeled red velvet boots.

The songstress wore dark sunglasses under the cowboy hat to complete her look and appeared to have little makeup on her fresh complexion.

She held an ice coffee in her hand as she walked down the stone steps of the fancy Starbucks store.

Go gaga for the Lady's Saint Laurent boots

We won't be tossing our favorite black ankle boots anytime soon but these red velvet one on Lady Gaga are certainly giving them a run for their money.

They're from the ubiquitous "Babies" line by Saint Laurent and we love their simplistic straight forward silhouette done in a punchy crimson color.

They're the perfect accessory to take your off-duty look to next level with minimal effort which for us translates to an easy no brainer decision!

Especially since they're currently marked down to $507 over at Matches Fashion (click right). But if you're in the market to steal Gaga's look for even less, why don't you take a look at some of the alternatives in the style carousel below?

Upon exiting the Starbucks, Gaga got into her white Mercedes Benz, where she appeared to have a bit of car trouble as she blocked a few cars before getting the car started and on her way.

Fresh off her successful Super Bowl performance and the announcement of a brand new video available on Apple Music, Gaga has had quite the week.

Earlier Wednesday, she announced the new song writing:

'I’M STRUNG OUT ON #JOHNWAYNE! Surprise! Next #JOANNE music video out now exclusively on @AppleMusic #GagaJohnWayne,' she wrote on social media.

On Tuesday, Lady Gaga hit back at the body shamers posting a photo of herself and her dancers and writing: 'I heard my body is a topic of conversation so I wanted to say, I'm proud of my body and you should be proud of yours too. No matter who you are or what you do.'

She continued in her Instagram post: 'I could give you a million reasons why you don't need to cater to anyone or anything to succeed. Be you, and be relentlessly you. That's the stuff of champions.'

The singer, 30, concluded her message: 'Thank you so much everyone for supporting me. I love you guys. Xoxo, gaga.'

More than 117 million people tuned in to watch Gaga perform Sunday in Houston and most were mesmerized by her 13-minute solo set in which she rattled through a medley of her hits.
