But Helena Christensen looked more youthful than ever as she slipped into lacy black lingerie for a sultry photoshoot.

Sharing a behind the scenes clip on Instagram on Wednesday, the Danish model set pulses racing as she shook her dainty derriere for the camera.

Clad in a lacy black bralet and matching briefs, the Vogue covergirl showed off her impeccably toned abs and ample bust. 

As she was secured into the garments, Helena gave a little wiggle of her behind, playfully captioning the clip: 'Not exactly twerking, but close enough.'

The mother-of-one also shared a stunning close-up of her youthful features, explaining: 'The polished look always worked for me.'

Whilst Helena has made a successful career from her stunning good looks, she revealed that she hasn't always been so blessed. 

Speaking about being scouted in her teens, the supermodel revealed she was shocked that anyone looked twice as she had 'chubby cheeks'.

Speaking to Red magazine, she said:  'I had a horrible perm, chubby baby cheeks and frosted pink lipstick!'

Discussing her youthful good looks, she told MailOnline her biggest beauty secret, 'which isn't a secret at all', is getting good sleep.

She added: 'I wish you could buy that in a bottle.'

The brunette bombshell also maintains her slender frame by keeping fit doing yoga and swimming.
